if you did not take her puppy you will break her heart, you should feel honored that she trust you enough to have her baby! Good luck with your new babies! |

I personally would go for it; also see if there is an address and you can send pictures of him. I bet she will appreciate that. (Since she's sickly, I'd send pictures every month, so she'll be able to see how happy her little doggie is in his new home.) Good luck. |

You are very blessed that she wants you to have her pup. If its not an issue for you and your family is okay with it, I would accept the pup. Or you can tell her you could find a really good home for the pup with someone you know so she won't worry. Good luck!! |
How about bringing the baby home and see how things work out. If not I am sure you can help find him a good loving caring home. |
How sweet that she thinks so highly of you that she wants you to have her little pup! It would probably make her rest easy knowing that you had her baby....I think I'd give it a try...to see how it works out! If all else fails, you'll be able to find him a good home somewhere else. I think I'd give it a try, though. |
I'd take him in a heartbeat I have a 15 week old yorkie and a 4 year old chihuahua and I would love to take another puppy. Do they ship puppies from England. My little Dylan would love a little playmate his size as my chihuahua is not crazy about the puppy. She is warming up to him though. I caught her cleaning his face last night when I wasn't looking. She growls at him when I'm around. My doggies are like my babies (my children are both grown) and I spoil them rotten. You can keep my name as a back up if you want. I promise I would give him a very loving home. |
Thanks everyone for the replies,i am collecting him on Sunday!!!!! :p i will be posting pics as soon as i get him! i hope it will all work out fine, but if not i will find him a forever home with another loving family,at least she will pass away peacefully with out any worries :( ,thanks again everyone :) |

Happy puppy I'm sure he will be very happy in your home. The fact that you gave it so much consideration before taking him shows how caring and thoughtful you are. Best of luck!!! |
If I were you - I would take this little puppy, so that the elderly woman will know that it has gone to a good home and be well taken care of. But - having 4 Yorkies might really be more than you want - depending on how it all works out. I would be up front and honest with the woman and tell her that I would take her Yorkie and work hard so that it might become a compatible member of my family. However, if this ends up to be too much for me and my family, I would assure her and promise her that I would absolutely see to it that her little dog goes to a wonderful loving home and will always be well taken care of. This is a promise you can make. I think that knowing this would make her feel assured that her little pup will always be loved and be well taken care of. And, this is what she is concerned about. I believe that this woman trusts you and knows that you will do what is best. It sounds like this poor woman needs help soon. I would take the puppy, and, hopefully, it will work out. But, you know you can find a good home for it - if you need to. This is one of those sad situations, isn't it! Carol Jean |
I agree with Rockster's mom: Take the baby now so she can live out the rest of her days left peacefully. If the baby doesn't fit in well with your others at home, then you can find him another great family. |
