Megan called me a freak!!!!! Ok, so Megan was standing at the back door getting Rusty in. Tucker walked over to her and I was afraid he would bolt out the door so I yell "Watch the baby!" She turned around and the look on her face was priceless! She said "Mother...you are a FREAK. He is a dog, ok? Not Luke or Eddie (my great nephews), they are babies. Tucker is a dog!" She will not let me hear the end of it because she knows it's what I said without thinking. I always call him "my baby" but she was a little freaked to hear me say it that way. Back me up here people. He's my baby right? Where did I go wrong with this girl????????????????    |
your right, my mom calls lexi the baby also....i think that is so cute.. |
ROFLMAO!!!!!!! Oh, Terri! The teenage years!!!!!!! :D |
Hey, that's why I named Baby, Baby! I didn't know what to name her and my friend said, when you look at her you'll know. I kept saying, look at that BABY! So, hence, her name. I didn't want to be one of those people who names their dog something, and calls him/her something else. BUT I do!!! LOL I call her Poops! |
LMAO! That is SO CUTE and Megan really knows they're babies...We know you raised her better than to think they're actual DOGS. Megan - what were you thinkin girl ? I can just imagine the look she gave you.... On the OTHER hand - GOOD ONE MEGAN ! Keep that mom in line girl ! |
You're right, he's your baby too. Both my kids talk to our two pups like they are their baby's, lol. I've even heard my daughter, Rachel, sweep Rhapsody up for a kiss while saying, "There's my little bitty baby!" So, yes, I firmly believe doggies are our babies also! |

Retort posted in response to your retort on my daughter scoring at the track meet thread  I was just waitin' and watchin' ;) |
My kids (not really kids anymore they are 22, 20, & 18) will refer to hubby and I as kobe's parents. They will say "kobe tell mommy it's dinner time" . And so on so on. My daughter always tells kobe to give sissy a kiss. He is our fourth child. |
Ummmmmmmmmmm....what does she think he is an animal! Good Lord child...you know better than that!!! |
I have to side with you, Teri (sorry, Megan) b/c Sully is my baby - ain't nobody tellin me otherwise! |
Tucker IS your baby. I refer to Sissy as "my baby girl" all the time. My son (23) and daughter (21) think I'm slightly obsessed. Perhaps I am a :aimeeyork :nerd:, but that is okay because my Sissy is the most gorgeous, special little puppy on the planet to me  |
We both refer to ours as "the babies". |
Cooper is our Baby too This really must seem strange to people who don't have small dogs and don't understand how it is. I got my Cooper, because my youngest son is going off to college. I consider him my baby (my baby who won't leave me!!) My husband and I refer to ourselves as Mommy and Daddy. Cooper even has his own blog to keep everyone updated on his doings...my mother (Cooper's MiMi :D ) says his blog makes him seem like a little kid...she said when she reads it she keeps thinking it is a small little child, that is not too bright. Our friends make fun of us too, but then they meet Cooper and then they all ask about him too, like he is our 3rd son. They ask about him, more than our other children that don't have fur. Well, let them make fun...I wouldn't trade my little furbaby for anything and for all the joy he has brought into my life he deserves all the attention and special treatment ;) |
Baby He is for sure your baby...your fur baby. I notice my husband telling Lex dont' worry you are one of our babies too...that is right you are my other baby boy...he didn't know I heard him...lol. |
Of course their our babies. my husband will say all the time to the dogs go see mommy and I'll say be quiet daddy's sleeping. |
