Is my dog smart or is it just me? lol wow, i'm so proud of Kizzy. she will be 12 months old Wednesday. Had her at the vet yesterday, she weighs exactly 3 lbs. So I think she's not gonna stay so small but, I have to tell you, I can tell her to roll over for a cheerio and she does, now she just comes up, lays down, rolls over and watches for me to give her a cheerio. Strange how much these pups will do for such a little treat or praise. She seems to learn things very fast. She will sit, lay down , roll over and get in her bed when I ask her too. She runs to back door and speaks to go out. still has some problems about peeing before she lets me know but getting better about it. Is that young for her to be understanding all that this soon or is it just me? She is my first yorkie and i've really never had many puppies in the house. anyway, I'm still proud of her whether she is smart or not. lol, she is to me. :thumbup: |
Geez, I'm jealous! Tucker has me pretty well trained. He is smart when he wants to be. Sounds like Kizzy is just perfect! Must be because she's a girl! :rolleyes: |
no, I dont really think it has anything to do with Male and Female, Maybe its because I'm home a lot just she and I. So I have plenty of time to spend with her. I think that is the main reason. But ty anyway. I have another thing to say for anyone that reads my post. I don't answer questions much on here, because I dont know anything to help anyone. This is my first yorkie and she is only 12 weeks so what can I say. I hope nobody gets bored with me just mainly telling things Kizzy learns but she and I are learning each other together. I wish I could be more help to people because I love coming here and looking at others puppies and I do learn somethings here but I take any info I can use and the rest I just read. But would like to be able to help. So bare with me, maybe I someday can help someone. Sorry. |
Sounds like she is very smart. If I would get off YT and train Cali she probably could learn a trick or two! lol You wil learn so much as you go. Sometimes people are justing looking for other peoples experience with their dog so post away. |
