2 month old yorkie; feed as much nutrical? i recently got tiglet, a 2month old yorkie; (check the general discussion for pics =) do i feed as much nutrical as she takes? or is there a limit? i never handled a 2 month old yorkie before and i know hypoglermica is very common just hours ago; i fed her the nutrical(she wasn't really eating food)...she kept on licking and licking and then she stopped ( she must have eaten like 1/3 of a regular bottle ) but a hour later....she threw most of it up.....right on my boxers....... any help would be much appreciated i'm just so afraid......i'm afriad cause she so young......and i never handled a 2 month old puppy before...... |
No you just squirt out a tiny bit and let them have a lick 3 times a day. I quit giving the nutrical when mine were 2 lbs. |
just a small amount 3x a day, and you may even have to only give once or twice a day if it causes diarrhea. yes, i think many of them do have hypoglycemia reactions, but this is only if they go too long without eating, get cold or get stressed, or do not sleep enough. only 1 out of 4 of mine actually had hypoglycemia episodes and they are all just 4 pounds at maturity. |
Just give the amount of your fingernail 3x a day if she isn't eating much.-small pinkie! Too much would have made her throw up.When she is feeding alright you can reduce it to 1x a day or to when she seems to need a pick me up. |
thanks everyone! |
