O my goodness!!! You will not believe this....
My precious Gizmo passed away a few weeks ago from kidney failure. Not only have I been not able to stop crying, but with all the vet bills that accumulated during his last week of life, my husband said I couldn't even think about getting a new puppy not now, not for a long while. We have a son in college and two teens at home and are helping our oldest daughter and her new husband in their first year of marriage. Also, we have two large breed dogs who I adore and also deserve the proper care. So all of this has added to my deperation because, Gizmo was MY dog, my friend, went everywhere with me, etc. So I had started praying. God knew how much I loved Gizzie and the very fact that I want another Yorkie so badly is just a testament to what a wonderful friend Gizmo was to me.
....which brings us to last Friday night, Good Friday. I live in Indiana and work at a university in Indianapolis. It was about 6 pm. A tremendous hail storm hit. All of the cars in the parking lot were damaged and windshields were even broken. Just now, today, the insurance called and are sending me a check for the damage done to my car...$4000.00!!!!!!!

I'm so glad you will be able to get another baby! Your poor car! It must have really been hit hard with that hail! We did that once when I had an accident and I spent the money on a vacation instead of getting the car fixed! A few months later someone ran a light and hit me in the exact same spot! That time we used the money to actually fix the car. Can't wait to hear about your new furbaby!

Sorry to hear about your car, but as the title of this thread says "God works in mysterious ways" ;) I'm so happy you can have a new baby. :) :thumbup:

The Lord hears our prayers and He has answered yours. Good luck in your search for a new furbaby. While no one will ever be able to replace your beloved Gizmo, a new furbaby will able to bring you the joy you have been missing since your loss. :)

That's wonderful! About getting a new furbaby not so great about the car, but heck as long as it runs who cares if it has some dents in it??

Yeppers....I am a believer. A new companion to love and make ya laugh ;)

What about your car... I work at a body shop... Job security...

God works in mysterious ways doesn't he? Wow, I am so HAppy 4 U. This is great news. I am really really happy 4 u. Good Luck with ur new Yorkie. I am sure you will be a great mother as you where with ur other Yorkie. I am so sorry to hear that ur other Yorkie passed. May ur Furbaby Rest In Peace. Best Wishes....Don't 4-get 2 share pics of ur new addition. LOL.....
