Such a beautiful girl and I've never seen such gorgeous eyes! I'm so sorry you lost her. It's amazing how such little souls can have such a huge impact on our lives. I'm glad you have another little yorkie to share your life with.

She was a beautiful little girl, so sorry for your loss. It is so hard to loose them, especially so young!

She was a real piece of eye candy ..so sorry for your loss , the nice thing is she still in your thoughts and you can share her memory here with us as a safe loving family of yorkie lovers ,,,thank you for that

Gracie was really pretty. I am soo sorry that she died at only 6.5 yrs. I am sure the loss was pretty hard but I am glad that you decided to get another yorkie again. I know that nobody will ever replace her but atleast you know you can love again. Cali looks like she is one special gal too. I think you are right, I think Lucy could look like your Gracie if only I could grow out her hair but with summer coming up and the burrs and tall grass around I think I am gonna have to shave her stomach or chop her hair again. I have been trying to grow it out too..especially the top bangs part and her eye area. I am not sure if I should just cut the hair between the eyes...?? it just seems like she won't beable to see for along time with that hair hanging over the eyes and the hair growing infront of it!! Is it worth it??

What a beautiful yorkie she was! I'm so sorry about her collapsed trachea and you losing her. I'm glad she had you to love her!

I keep the eye area trimmed and as soon as I am able I put a bow in to keep it out of the eyes. By the time it is in there eyes you can usually get it up in a bow. Gracie loved to run in the yard too and her hair never stopped her. AS she got sicker I cut her down so the grooming was much less but for many years she looked like her picture. I just love the long coats but it's really depends on wht each person prefers.

And I thought Gracie incredibly beautiful. How sad for your loss. We tie our hearts up in our pups, and it really hurts when we lose them. I think it hurts in some degree for the rest of our lives.

You were lucky to have her, Patti honey. And you took such good care of her! :p Only a well cared for girl would look like that!
