Maddie peed on the new carpet! Okay...can anyone tell me why in the world she would do this? She has been trained and once in a great while do a poop somewhere, but never pee. There, right in the middle of our livingroom was a yellow pee spot! What's with that? Why would she do that? I'm baffled. The little stinker! Thank goodness my husband was outside doing yard work when I noticed it so I hurried and cleaned it up before he sees it. Still a dampness there, so my luck he'll come in and step right in that spot! I told her if she does it again, we'll have to get out the diaper! Ugh...we've only had this carpet since Tuesday and she's already peed on it!!! My only other thought is that my daughter's dog, Kirby was here last night, but I put a belly band on him because he marks. Once when I picked him up, the belly band had shifted downward and his little "thing" was aiming out. LOL It did almost look like a spray , so maybe we should just blame Kirby. |
Oh man... Is Maddie spayed, Connie? I really believe females mark too, especially when going into heat. You'll need to put some type of deoderizer on it, or she just might do it again. Otherwise, you may have to make that room "off limits". Woops... poor Connie! :( |
Jaspersmom...yes...Maddie is spayed...when she was about 6 1/2 months. I'm really wondering now if it may have been Kirby since it was only damp when I found it. Plus, rather than just a little puddle, there were drips all around it. So, unless Maddie turned circles, I'm thinking it was Kirby. Maddie only turns circles before she poops. LOL It could happened last night and I didn't notice it until today. Like a dummy...I gave my bottle of urine-x to my daughter, so I have it cleaned up, but will have to get something to also get the scent out. |
Hi Connie Abbie says: "KIRBY did it!" Get out the white vinegar, until you can get more urine-x(?). Does that have an odor? We bought - and gave away - a container of Odoban, cause it gives me headaches. |
Yes -- Kirby may have done it...... I know what you mean about the belly band shifting a little - exposing their little faucet! This happens to at my house occasionally. Only recently, I had two dogs and two cats --and at times, it certainly was difficult to know which one should be blamed for an accident. It still is occasionally --with my two dogs. Congrats!!!!! --- on your new carpet. And, hopefully, it wasn't your little girl who pee'd. Carol Jean |
Maddie would never do such a thing, blame Kirby :) hehe!!! I'm sorry about your new carpet but glad your husband didn't notice! |
Maddie would NEVER pee on the carpet, it was Kirby :p |

Maybe Maddie doesn't like the new carpet. Did she get a say in the matter. She liked the old carpet there were less rules. |
My vote is that Kirby did it! LOL That sweet little Maddie would never do such a thing. She is too sweet and dainty in her pretty little dresses. (At least you can blame Kirby, especially since he isn't there to defend himself!) |

I'm with everyone here. Blame Kirby! ;) |
yup, i think we all have concluded, that indeed(wow, that was the first time i used that word in a while) it was Kirby. |
Kirby did it!! Kirby did it!! Kirby did it!! Maybe it was the next door neighbors kid!! That's who I used to blame it on!! Maybe Maddie didn't like her new dress!! Did you ask her?? I know she'd never do it on purppose! Maybe it was too tight? If you ask her, and she says it was too tight, tell her I'll make her a tee-shirt next time. Suz |
