Threads with few or little replies I always feel bad when I see a thread someone has started that for some reason has been overlooked and has no or very few replies. I know some get moved on down quickly because of a lot of posting, and then aren't noticed, but, I think we should all try to make all YT'ers feel special. A few people have told me they feel hurt, unwanted or left out because they start a thread that doesn't get responses. Let's all try to notice and make everyone feel loved and accepted! I haven't had much time to be on here lately, so I'm guilty for not posting...wish I had more time to be here!!! |
I try my best to reply to every new thread that I see! Unless it is something that I am absolutely clueless about and I dont want to give wrong info! |
Good idea.Although I only post if I can make some suggestions/share info. Sometimes i don't know the answer! |
I try my best to check them out and try to help out or give advice LOL mmmmm...I'm a YT addict since I've been here its like a daily ritual for me to be on this site my warm loving YT family :) I'll go gaga with out my YT family LOL :woof: :yorkietal :woof: :hearts-xx Queen Lily :aimeeyork & Mommy Lene :animal-pa |
That is a great idea, Connie! Sometimes even the best threads can get lost, since there are so many new ones every day. But putting a little effort into threads without many replies can be quite helpful to the original poster! You never know how good a friend you may make if you don't reply! ;) |
Connie, you are the sweetest! I will try my best to look for the threads that have 0-3 posts and reply! :p We love you, Mama Connie!! |
Thanks for the reminder Connie....I always try to post on the low number posts...even if it's just to say hi or say something nice.....It's HARD keeping up and I know many threads get missed...... |
Girl, we KNOW you do!!! :D Quote:

LOTS of times I don't feel I have anything to add, but maybe I'll start bumping those lonely little posts? Also, how would everyone react if someone bumped their own ignored post? It is amazing how fast these posts fly through her sometimes! |
Great Thread Connie! I agree and I try very hard to get those posts back up there too! Thank you so much for reminding all of us to backtrack a little :) YAY for Yorkietalk!!! I think bumping your own thread is just fine, especially since we have members all over the world that may not see the thread for hours! |
Thanks, Connie ~ Great Thread. And, though I'm a newbie 'round here; will do my best to follow your example, and help others feel welcome! |
That is a great reminder Connie.... |
include me Hi, include me in those that always have only two or three replies. I get pretty good response when I post to the general area but other forums, usually only one or two. I always try to post to people when I am able to be online and that hasn't been very often the past few days. I know that sometimes the people with knowledge about what I am asking about, may not be online at the time. i don't get offended very easy though. Just figure everyone is too busy like I am sometimes. |
i get what you mean. posts come and go here, but i will try reallllly hard to help the lonely posts. |
If anyone is waiting for an answer to a problem, remark, or question -- I think it's personally acceptable to bump their own post. I have a couple times bumped my own - with something like, "Come on you guys - help me!!!!!" And - and then promptly got some responses. Nothing wrong with this ----- Carol Jean |
