I don't think there is anything like the Yorkie greeting. Shelby wakes up from a nap (in Daddy's lap) and jumps over to my chair to give me a face full of kisses b/c she hasn't seen me in such a long time . Same thing when I go outside or in the garage for a few minutes. The funniest thing she does is greet my adult age sons when they come home late at night or early morning :( She jumps out of bed and runs to meet them at my bedroom door. They let her out, she smooches all over them then comes back to bed. I wish I would have know about Yorkies earlier in my life. I think I would have smiled more. |
Whenever I go to visit my grandmother I take my babies with me. When I leave to go somewhere my dog will wait by the door the entire time until I return. They tried to coax her away from the door, but she woulden't budge. I guess she wants to be the first one to see me and greet me! |
What great stories everyone have shared. If anyone whould have told me at my age I would have five dogs I would have thought they were crazy. Lucky (chow-Mix) has been with me for 16 years and loves my four yorkies as much as I do. No one gives you unconditional love like a furbabie. As I type all five are laying around me, you got to love it. |
