I started Cali and Maya on Missing Link
 
a couple of days ago and tonight after their 9:30 meal Cali was like a wild women and Maya who is 9 today is acting a little hyper and she's usually very sedintary. Could this be from the Missing Link? They both seem to like it. Cali has been eating all of her food even the dog food when I sprinkle it on.
How long before you see a difference in their skin and coat? Thanks

I give Chachi anhd Jewels missing link. I think it was about 3 months before I noticced a difference. Chachi had dry skin and allergies and it is wonderrful for him. I am growing Jewels hair out and it seems to grow quickly.

I think it was about 6 weeks when I first noticed Wosie's coat was filling in. It takes about 3 months to see significant differences, though!

Patti, I am so happy you are using ML! I will never stop. I love it!

You know what makes MY dogs hyper?? :eek: Thorsmomma/Hannah's homemade doggy biscuits!! I don't know what she put in them, but I am guessing tequilla!!!!!!!! :p

I started Annie on ML about a few days ago as well. I give it to her in the morning. I haven't noticed any hyperactivity really. I have noticed her scratching a little less though. Don't know if it is related or not?

Thanks Jaspermom for sharing that research. I think today I will go and buy Missing Link and get Daisy started on it. It sounds great.........

We have our girls on ML and I love how it has helped their coat!! It stays softer long before a bath and it seems to be growing faster...they have been on it for a couple of months now!!

That's so great to hear! I know how much trouble you have feeding Cali..Im so happy for you :)

How much do you give them? And how many times a day? Do they have regular feedings or are they free feeders? Im definitely leaning towards putting my Cali on it too :)

My kids eat twice a day, and they each get a quarter teaspoon on each feeding. I think if I free-fed I would put the daily dose all in the bowl.

Thanks , Cali gets fed 3 times a day and I have been putting about 1/6 of a teaspoon on each feeding until they adjust to it then I will give them a teaspoon a day spread out over 3 meals.

I tried to use that with Dori and it made her sick. It says to refrigerate after opening, and I did. I was feeding her the amount suggested on the bag, and Dori is about 6.5 lbs. She ate it every morning and evening for about two weeks. Then she started throwing up right after she ate. after about the third time in a row I was really worried that something was wrong with her. So, my husband says, "It's that stupid stuff you keep putting on her food!" (he thinks I'm crazy because of all the things I get, have, and do for my furbaby) Well, I hate to say it but this time he was right. I stopped putting it on her food and she stopped throwing up. Maybe I just got a bad batch, or maybe it just didn't agree with my dog. I was really disappointed because I wanted to help her coat... oh well. It sounds like no one else has had a problem.
