I know you wanted to see these separately, so here you go! I SHOULD have (and I am making a LIST of all my SHOULD HAVES, lol) gotten all the YT folk together for a group photo!! DUH! Anyhow, here they all are! If I missed anyone, please let me know!

Such wonderful pics! I'm so glad you had a great time, it looks like so much fun! I just don't know what I would do with all those yorkies!!!!

Believe me, it got plenty hectic on occasion, but every dog was well behaved, and all the owners very attentive. It was AWESOME!! Noisy at times, but WONDERFUL!!

I'm so darn jealous! I mean, of course, thrilled that SO MANY showed up, oh my gosh that is soooooooo awesome. But I'm heartbroken that I couldn't have been there. Man! What fun you guys had! I'm excited to see more pictures and all the fun Sully and I missed. *LOL*

I looked for a smilie that was a jealous face but I couldn't find one. Oh well. I'm SOOOOOOOOOOO happy that the meetup had such an awesome turnout! I keep looking at the group picture over and over going WOW LOOK AT ALL THE YORKIES!
I mean, you guys really had an event to be proud of!!!! :good job: My solemn vow is that I will do my BEST to attend the next one! If there isn't a wedding or a family emergency, you bet I'll be there!

Just awesome ....and great job with all the names ! That was so cool to watch and what a fun time you all had.....Everyone looks so happy and to see so many cute yorkies in one place was just great - Way to go :thumbup: and man I wish I could have been there too. A

Glad - you are the best and I also want to point out and thank you for inviting the Yorkie Rescue person. Not many people would have thought to do that and it sure helps in rescue to have this important issue be part of the mix in ownership of these precious little ones. :)

We had TWO rescue groups come. Melinda Housh of the Greensboro based group spoke at the MeetUp for a couple minutes, and told some stories, and I helped her give out flyers and cards. One's laying on my desk right now. Their web site is www.yorkshireterrierrescue.net, and they have an awesome set up. They actually have a person who flies out to deliver dogs to people! They are always looking for new members, though, so if anyone is interested, or would just like to donate, please sign onto their site and do so.

The National group also came to the MeetUp, but much later, (which was probably good as I did not want any competition as to "my group is better than your group, lolol). Their website is exactly the same as the above, only put dot com (.com) on the end. Sandy Cantliffe came with 2 rescues, brought a friend who had another rescue, and Sandy also brought her favorite home pup. It was very nice to see them as well.

Both groups said they have more people on the waiting list than they have dogs, and I think that is wonderful. Unfortunately they also have pups that have health issues or behavioral problems that are un-adoptable, and the foster folks end up keeping them. I spoke to one lady who has 16 dogs!! (remind you of someone, Cindy my friend? :p )

I agree, this is an important issue. There are some sensitivities with it, as people who do rescue seem to have strong opinions about breeders and breeding. I had a discussion with Melinda about that the day before the meet, and specifically requested she refrain from expounding on the subject as we were all there for a day of FUN with yorkies, and I did not want to make anyone upset! :( She agreed, and tempered her words. :p Good woman, I like her very much! Not to mention the fact that they gave me this AWESOME coffee mug as a Thank You for offering them time to talk at the Meet. :D
