:teethysmi Oh my GOODNESS!! What a WONDERFUL DAY!! :D

Even though we had to bring the party inside, I think it may have actually worked out better. We were in an exercise room at a gym, and there were mirrors lining one wall, :grin2: so the pups got a kick out of that, and we got a kick out of watching them!

All together the estimate was about 30 people and 20 Yorkies of all shapes, sizes, and colors! I am hoping other people got some great pictures of the individual dogs because I was way too busy running around today. :doghop: I got a lot of great people shots, but not a whole lot of pups. I am in the process of transferring them to photobucket, and as soon as I am done I will post the link.

Unfortunately, the surprise I had planned did not turn out on camera. I did not take the time to show my husband how to use the video portion of the camera, or make him practice. I thought I had it set up for him, and told him to just press the button to start. I must have messed up. :idontknow There was no video of ALL THE YT PEOPLE SINGING HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MEGAN AND TUCKER WITH LIT CANDLES AND SIGNS!!! Dang!!! I will post the signs later, so check back when you get a chance, they are very funny and cute!

BUT we did have a good time, did a costume contest, gave away the door prizes to a delighted crowd, (THANKS AGAIN RETAILERS!!) raised a little money raffling some of the prizes which was split between Yorkie Rescue and the Bark Park, heard a talk from Melinda Housha about Yorkie Rescue, and many kind folks donated to covering the cost of the indoor venue! Of course people chatted together, and dogs played excitedly in large and small groups. Also, much to my delight, there were two puppy transfers that occured! How cool is that?? LOLOL, and in the excitement and hub bub of people and dogs, I forgot to play the GAMES I had planned, LOL!! NEXT TIME!

Here's a picture of the group! I think we had a little less than 10 YT people there, but that's a LOT!! It's so funny, I feel like I know some of them, and it's cool to put the faces with the names. Robbie is going to list the folks when she posts her pictures, so check it out!

:thankyou2 THANKS, everyone for coming!! (AND thanks for helping me clean up!! I am TIRED!) I had a wonderful time, and I cannot imagine it being a whole lot better than it was!!! :woof:

Oh Glad, you are too much! It sounds like such a wonderful day and you are quite the organizer, aren't you? Need names to put with the faces. Those signs are the best! You made Megan's day. I'm on her computer so she'll be on later. Tucker's party got rained out so we got a kick out of the idea that he was a part of yours! Thanks again.

Glad you are the best! What a wonderful lady you are for organizing this wonderful events. I have enjoyed reading all about it from the beginning and then the wonderful pictures with all the beautiful people and SUPER beautiful little Yorkies. You and everyone there must have had a ball. I would have loved to have just sat on the floor to watch all of them playing together.

Thank you for sharing your pictures...and your little girl was a hoot in her doogles and leather coat. I know she thinks she is a RockStar just like her mom :D

It was a nasty day here and we got rained out, so I know Megan's going to love to see that she and Tucker weren't forgotten!

We're going to have a raindate on the 22nd, so if any of ya'll wanna head north for another party.... ;)

Looks like everybody had a great time even though it did rain. And having it inside saved the day! I'd love to have seen all the pups looking at themselves in the mirror! I can just see them (I know what ours have done when looking in a mirror or if they see their reflection in glass).

Oh it was so great. I am exhasted! Haha, how that happened by just standing there I have no clue. It was a blast!!

I think I did pretty well matching everyone up! I don't know all the pups names of the people I met that were not YT folk yesterday.

Horror upon horrors, I just realized that ROBBIE & ASHLEY are not in this shot!! (and neither is Lynn, DaisyMae's mom). No one said to me "we have to wait for Robbie" or I most certainly would have, honey!! I am so sorry you were not here, as I feel like you are such a big part of my yorkie life!! My apologies, my friend!

I'm so darn jealous! I mean, of course, thrilled that SO MANY showed up, oh my gosh that is soooooooo awesome. But I'm heartbroken that I couldn't have been there. Man! What fun you guys had! I'm excited to see more pictures and all the fun Sully and I missed. *LOL*

I looked for a smilie that was a jealous face but I couldn't find one. Oh well. I'm SOOOOOOOOOOO happy that the meetup had such an awesome turnout! I keep looking at the group picture over and over going WOW LOOK AT ALL THE YORKIES!

I mean, you guys really had an event to be proud of!!!! :good job: My solemn vow is that I will do my BEST to attend the next one! If there isn't a wedding or a family emergency, you bet I'll be there!

I wish it was closer to me! South GA is too far away! LOL but i helped out a lil with a gift certificate! Maybe someone will enjoy it!
