Tike is sick again
 
Tike seemed to be doing a little better and then the owner said his vet should change the medcine. He cant be on medcine for ever but they said if we change it it should knock it out of him. I asked my vet he said try it becauses he will end up with stomach proublems if on it to long. Well he is coughing more now and now zip has it. The owner is taking Tike to his vet to find out why he not getting completly better. and zip woke up coughing. Benji got it right away when tike first came here and we didnt know he was sick. Benji got better right away but tike hasnt. now zip. I think zip will get better right away but what do I do about tike. Tike was sick when I bought him and all they are doing is paying for the medcine not the vet cost. I complained and now he said I will take him to my vet for free. He is trying. NEVER EVER WILL I BUT FROM A PET STORE STUPID ME. We love tike so much. We want him better.

HI. I am new here, and don't know the ropes yet. My Chauncey was sick with coughing and throwing up. Antibiotics did not help. Finally, I left him at the vet's all day (to the tune of $300) and discovered that he has a "collapsing trachea", which, says the doc, is common in small breeds. We got some little pills that I give him when he starts to cough and it seems to really work well. He cannot wear a collar, only a harness.

The owner took him to his vet. the vet said nothing to be concern about not catching. No more medcine needed. He claims when he coughs it was due to excitement or could be his bedding or carpet etc not kennel cough. Then why did Benji get the same thing and got better after the medcine and now zip is getting the same cough? The owner said wont pay for my vet bill if I take him back to mine and wont pay for medcine now. Tike only coughs late at nite and in the early morning. I hope it will just get better but I dont understand then why the other 2 got the same thing. I said he started coughing in the truck on the way home when we bought him. He said mostlikely due to excitement, have any one heard of this. In the day time he ok. My vet heard him cough when we foirst bought him and said he was sick. May be he not now.
