Walks....UGH! I have been taking the boys for walks for the past few days with it getting sooo nice and all, and OMGoodness....I look like a 3 ring circus coming down the road! I have tried seperate leashes, and I have tried the coupler. Its sooo hysterical. On the coupler, Brasco wants to keep walking and Luigi gets mad and plops his tooshie down and sits there. Brasco barks at him to get him moving, but Luigi won't hear of that. When I use seperate leashes, well they are all over the place. Oh I wish I had a video! What to do, what to do??? So if I can't handle 2 walking, how the heck am I going to handle 3????? Help me out here!!! Hahahah!!!!!! PLEASE!! :scratchhe |
well well lol you have a problem lol I take Kloey and my husky for a walk at the same time and I use 2 seperate leashes, believe it or not they do well, I do use the retractable leash. You could go on seperate walks if they dont do good together or get a stroller lol Good luck and keep us posted! |
AWW lol you poor thing, hang in there : )) |
HaHa - so Mandy I get a visual of you with your arms crossed and your legs crossed because everyone is going in a different direction...tooo funny. Okay this is what you do. You buy a baseball cap and secure a long poll on it (duck tape works) and you have a string hanging from the poll with a hot dog on the end of it and have it hanging just above where the gang could get it. I guarantee they will all walk in the same direction...now you will look stupid :p but the gang is walking in step. All of this was said in loving fun... |
How about walking them one at a time???? |
I guess your best bet is to walk them separately. Good luck with your pups. |

LMAO!!!!! I just may try that!!! Anything at this point would be better than how its going now! Now I may end up with every dog in the neighborhood following, but hey, mine will in line!!!!! hehehe!!!! I am tripping over the leashes, and getting tangled up and, the leahes getting wrapped around me a million times, me doing a million circles trying to get untangled...You name it....it has happened to me! Well, you get the picture!!!! :sidesplt: |
I walk 2 dogs at a time. I use separate leashes. I keep one leash shorter than the other. Our 5 month old puppy likes to jump up and bite the older dog's leash. I am not good at explaining these things but it one leash shorter than the other works for me. |
Mandy - you should have seen me try 5 once...I ended up on the ground (leashes around ankle) and almost wet my pants from laughing so hard. The neighbors rushed over and all 5 of the dogs were jumping on my chest :p we all were a sight to see... Now you also could solve it by getting another dog...then you would walk 2 at a time. ;) |
:D Our two walk good like they were glued together........... But when the older one stops and just sits there, I pick her up. The younger one can walk forever, don't know where she gets all her energy. My solution was: I bought a stroller for those times when I wanted to walk farther and we all seem to be in coordination with the plan. Everyones happy now ! :) I can picture you walking with THREE ! whoohoo! :dogwalk: :dogwalk: :dogwalk: :aimeeyork :aimeeyork |
I was thinking I need to have it all evened up!!!!! 3 is such an odd number...and I have been thinking of evening up the score!!!! Have 2 girls and 2 boys!!!! LOL!!!!!!!!!!! |
lets settle this once and for all! you send me all your pups then you can walk when ever you want! either that or get another one to even it out! :p |
