I finally found dental bones that Sean will chew on. I'm hoping they will help so I won't have to take him for teeth cleaning too often. (What an expensive doctor visit!!)

I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get a good price for Pedigree Dentabone (small size). So far, I've only seen them as a 3-pack. Since he likes them so much, I'd like to have more on hand, but am not too happy paying $1 each. I'd really like to get them in bulk but haven't been able to find them in large quantities.

The only negative aspect to these dental bones is that his paws and beard get a bit messy. I don't really mind since I know how happy he is to have one to chew.

My two have these but yes they are a nightmare to get out of their hair :eek:

Walmart is a good place and also Dr. Foster and Smith carries them in bulk. Do a google search for their web site.

The ones at Foster and Smith are Beefeaters Denties. They're different and also cost more than the Pedigree Dentabones.

Since Sean likes the Pedigree ones, I want to get more.

I, personally, do not buy my pets supplies from the grocery store. It's just that you never know if they rotate the supplies like they should, if it's expired or if it is infested. JMO

I suggest Petco, Petsmart.

If I had to chose a grocery store? I'd go with Krogers(Smiths)

i have not tried the dental bones with my yorkie yet but when i had my boston terrier she loved them...i started with the pedigree ones from walmart and saw them at the dollar genral store and the ones they have are alot cheeper however they are not pedigree but they are the same thing and they are just as good...i think if i remember right they are two for a dollar there

I'm not sure where it is exactly but I posted on Yorkie Health/Diet. I had two of my yorkies Choke on Dentabones! They become very pasty and get stuck in the throat and roof of the mouth!
