2nd Scam attempt I recieved this yesterday (Tues) in my email: From: used_wheel001@yahoo.co.uk Message: I am Jerryson Winners, My interest for your Purebred dog AD that was posted at the advert, Please get back to me with the last asking ,if still avaliable. This is what I sent back: Mr. Winners, Hello, I have one female left and her price is $1000. She weighs 2 lbs 7 ozs and will be 9 weeks old April 5th. She comes with AKC registration, food, blanket, toy, 3 generation pedigree and picture CD from birth till she goes to her forever home. She will be ready to go at 12 weeks old, April 26th. I accept a $200 non-refundable cash deposit with the balance paid in cash at pick-up. Puppy must be visited by you when deposit is paid. I do not ship my puppies. I will decide if you are worthy of one of my puppies at that time. I want my puppies to go to loving, forever homes and their best interest is my main priority. Anyway my final reply was: You have got to be kidding, I've already answered your questions and told you my terms of payment in the previous email. All other questions can be answered when and if you visit the pup. I see you must be from the UK, I don't ship my puppies under any circumstances. Scam artists suck! They are out there Yorkie lovers, be prepared and very aware!! |

It sounds to me like the same Scam that they have on craigslist. (ever heard of it?) I posted that I was selling my kind size bed and these guys kept on telling me that they wanted to buy it and they would send me the money via cashier's check or money order and it was wayyyy over the asking price. ( I was asking 350. and they said they would send me 2500.) But there was a warning on craigslist that had said people are doing this and if you cash the check you would have to pay all that money back. It was crazy!!! The banks couldn't even tell if it was fake or not. |
never heard of craiglist. I'm just glad I'm aware of the scammers. I keep my eyes and hears open all the time. They have some nerve. |
