I'm not very good at this... I'm reading the same letter as you guys but I don't see "signs" of a scam. Can someone explain it to me please? |
Well, first of all, I haven't e-mailed ANYONE asking about pups. How this person got my e-mail addy is beyond me...and YORKIES at that. But, now that I think about it, refresh my memory anyone...isn't David the one that had yorkies for $300??? You send him the money and then don't receive a dog? |

Ahhh...that would semi explain it. Anything else? |
it reaks of a scam!!! the next email you get will probably say "david" is in nigeria or camaroon, awaiting your western union code. |
:p Almost sounds like the "Nigerian" scam except he didn't mention that his had been "NutriCal'd"!! Geez ... do these people think we are stupid, or what?? He kinda sounded like someone who knows you and is pulling your leg!! ;) |
these scam emails always have weird grammatical errors. not just typos like we all do but just weirdness. |

another common scam is when the scammer poses as a buyer. they want to buy something you have for sale. sends you a money order, then tells you oh, i've changed my mind, since you've already deposited the money order, go ahead and write him a check to refund the money. you refund his money, then find out the money order he sent is a fake. |
hmmm...maybe I'll play along and inquire about these pups! |
MISTAKE!!!! The e-mail was sent to TeresaWhitt but yet, I received a copy of it...almost like I was blind copied. Really weird!!!!! Anyway, here's what I sent him... Hello, David. I don't know how I got the e-mail you sent since it was to someone named Teresa Whitt but I am interested. I would like more info on the females that you have listed. How much are you asking for them and where are you located? I ask because I want to know how long it is going to take for the pups to get here. |
Oohhh...this is going to be FUN! :D :D :D |
UGH< UGH<UGH.......UGH! I think you should inquire and see how far they are willing to take this scam.... |
