I Need Some Ideas Please I would like to block off my dining area so that my baby can have the entire dining room during the day while I'm at work. The problem I'm having is the entrance from my dining to living area is probably 10 feet wide and the entrance from the dining room to the kitchen is probably 3 feet but it's not a doorway, it's the end of an island bar and 3 feet over is my refrigerator. So a baby gate is not fastenable there because the island and the wall and refrigerator is not lined up. There has to be something large enough or some kind of something that I can block these two areas off so he would have freedom. I can't remember the post, but someone on this site had what looked like a wooden bicycle rack (can't explain it) that just sat on the floor on a stand, it was almost like a gate and I believe this person said they made it. I'm sorry for rambling, just don't know how to describe it. |
How about a door sized screen?? How high can he jump?? I use the extendable window screens,, cause mine is not a jumper, so they are fine.. |
I bought this at Petco and it doesn't have to be put together like this; you can extend it to make a really long gate plus you can add to it. I also blocked off my dining room area, and this helped alot. http://www.petco.com/assets/product_...610708665B.jpg |
Whitech I thought about that. So if I take the panels and make them one long straight line, how do I connect them to the wall, as I'm sure it's not stable free standing correct? |
It comes with rubber stopper things to press up againts the wall or door frame. |
