Great idea!! You are also doing such a great job!! ssguzzy828-- I think that even though you aren't bringing your little girl til june it will be just in time for the receiving of the baskets. I would just say to put things that you are going to need for the baby when she comes home!!! |

Ok I just posted my info because bridget and I want in on this one! I cant wait, the one question I have for everyone participating is I know some of use are pretty talented as far as making outfits, blankies and bows for our babies. Is anyone objectionable to having homemade clothes etc given to you for your furbaby? |
I got a ?. Does the gift have to be a basket? I'm not creative - at all, and have never given a gift basket to anyone before, and I'm not sure I'd be able to make a nice 'basket.' |

I personally think whatever you decide to do, be it home made, not in basket form, or whatever will be well appreciated by everyone involved. Just play to your strengths ;) |
I think it would be rather difficult to ship a basket, personally. I know I wouldn't be opposed to homemade stuff; I appreciate it because I sure as heck know that I can't even sew a button on my shirt :) |
I totally agree with Aimee.. it doesn't have to be in a basket. You could just stick it in a brown mailing box and stuff a bunch of newspaper inside. Our yorkies could easily crawl in and dig through! It's the surprise of it all! And I'm sure noone minds if it's homemade, handsewn or anything.. I think that would still be awesome because they took so much time into it! I'm excited myself! |

I am thinking about changing the deadline for sign-ups to Monday, April 11 so that I can start gathering mailling addresses because I know it will take some time for everyone to respond! So don't forget, if your name is not on the list and you want to join.. go sign up on the "Info on you and your pups" thread! :p I will stop taking info on April 11! |

Just to remind everyone, deadline is in 3 days! :p The exchange rules has changed everyone! A few people suggested it and I think it's a great idea! So here it goes! If you have two or more pups participating, you will have to buy for however many dogs you have participating. For instance, if I have two dogs, I will have to buy for "Sue's" dog and for "John's" dog since I will be receiving two surprises for each dog. If you cannot afford to buy for two dogs, maybe both of your dogs could share one gift or you could participate one of your pups this time around and participate your other dog on our next Gift Exchange! I think this seems a lot more fair! :D |

I have been out of work for the past 2 days and all my info is at work! I have paired everyone up with their pal already so I know who has who! As soon as I get back in the office tomorrow, I will see who all I need addresses from and then I can start sending them all out! I will send them out soon, I promise! :p |
