YT Friends,

You gals are too funny! No, I am not too busy fending off reporters and such(I wish) :D . I did not want to divulge until I was able to email Lipstik's breeder which I was able to do tonite(have not heard back). As many of you know, I am in the process of trying to convince Lipstik's breeder that Lippy is suitable for showing, but when I bought Lippy I had no intention of such.

Well, low and behold I met a good friend here, on YT named lwolfe, who has been so supportive and helpful with such stupid and reduntant questions about showing and whether Lippy was suitable. And of course, other YT'ers whom I have consulted about Lippy, many to mention, but I promise to be brief, such as sylvan(Stacy), femstr(Kimberly) , Wnalegria(Kathy), Pat, Robbie, and Rini. Ok, it's time to get to the point and brag.

On Friday, I went with Laurie to a UKC show . On my way there, I noticed some blood on my white starched shirt and realized Lipstik was having her first heat cycle :confused: , so I never thought I was going to enter her, but decided to go on nonetheless. I learned there that I could enter her with her being in heat. Laurie and I got there late(weren't planning to show) Friday. So, entered Lippy and Laurie entered her two beautiful yorkies, Maddie and Deuce. That night, Lipstik won second place and reserve and Maddie won first place. I was so excited that my little girl had won in a show!

The next day(Sat) there were two shows. I entered Lippy for both shows as did Laurie. Lipstik was strutting her stuff. She got a ribbon for First Place, another for Best Female, and another for Best of Breed!!!!

And then finally, on Sunday, Lipstik was phenomenal! She won First Place, Best Female, Best of Breed, but she also won GROUP THREE when she competed with other dogs . I was so excited, feeling more confident in my abilities to stack her(I need practice) and Lippy was walking faster than I could keep up with. She is just phenomenal even with her not feeling well with her heat. I asked two of the judges for professional pictures of Lippy winning with all the very nice ribbons and I hope to be able to send one of each to her breeder. Lippy accumulated many points though I don't know how many yet.

I just wanted to say I had so much fun! What an experience!!! Though exhausted for sure, I am so glad I decided to show her . She has some beautiful ribbons to showcase her talent.

I want to thank Laurie publicly for encouraging me and helping in such a selfless manner. On Saturday, we were pleasantly suprised by a visit from Jan(YT) who is a yorkie breeder. Her encouragement and assistance with Lipstik, Maddie and Deuce made our work easier. I also wish to thank Stacy for having helped me pick such a great little girl, of whom I am so very proud. Kimberly, and Stacy are my distant mentors in many ways and I owe them a world of gratitude. And of course all other YT'ers who have given me much support. Thank you all :)
