I seriously need help!!! Bring out the straight jacket folks. I am actually stressing over the fact that I have to switch Nikko to adult food. He is 11 months old and soon to be 1 next month (April 29). He is running out of his last bag of puppy food and I am beside myself that my baby is no longer a baby and is now a little adult. Where has the time gone? When I brought him home he was a tiny little ball of fur who fell asleep on my hubby's flannel slipper and was afraid of climbing off the monstrous sofa. Now he is a 5 pound fearless little man who jumps onto my bed with little effort. He is still my baby and I refuse to come to terms with the fact that I can't buy him puppy food anymore. Is this sick? It's just food, but it means so much more. You guys think I'm crazy? |
Oh, he's growing up. We can't keep them puppies forever...*HUGS COMING YOUR WAY!* :D |
i know how you feel, lexi just turned 1 on wednesday,, no more babies huh? |

thanks necee. |
Why not get another puppy and that way you can continue to buy puppy food??? That would be my solution!! :p I really want another baby and Lola is only 6 months old! |

Gucci is almost 2 years old(July 10), and for me she still my baby. I know she is not really a puppy but like Teri said she is so small she is a puppy to me. You don't need a straight jacket "yet", jk. Just remember that they have to grow up. If you want to still buy puppy food, I like the idea Rene gave you about getting a new pup. ;) Im crazy about my girl, so I know how you feel. Maybe I need the straight jacket, .lol |
AWWWWW your baby is getting older :)) |
Oh they do grow up fast! Princess is 3, but she will always be my baby. :2hearts2: |
Yorkies will ALWAYS be puppies. Mine are over 3 years old and I will still say to people.... 'I have to take caRE of my puppies' Always PUPPIES! |
