Do you leave music on?
 
Do you leave your music on softly when you are at work and have to leave your baby for a few hours? I was thinking that this would be soothing to a lonley pup.

I leave the TV on for Gus when I have to leave him,,,,, which isn't too often because he goes just about everywhere with me. :D

I leave the t.v on even though he doesn't watch it. It's just for background noise, so he feels more secure. I don't know if it works or not, but it doesn't hurt. :D

Yep! We always leave Animal Planet on for Toto even though it's probably just the "sound" that comforts her ... we seldom ever leave her. I think the sound helps to block out all those "scarry" sounds that disturb her even when she's not alone. ;)

Yup, we leave either classical music on or the TV (Cartoon Network usually) or both on for Yoda when he's home alone. We used to leave it on Animal Planet, but Yoda saw horses and doggies and he gets pretty agitated about that and feels like he needs to bark when he sees that, and we want him to have a relaxing time at home, so we just let him watch cartoons now. :)

Back when all I had was one dog I did leave the music on. It happened to be a sheltie that I had at the time. She seemed to like it. Any time I left her and didn't leave either the radio or t.v. on for her she chewed something of mine up. Now that I have several dogs I don't leave the music or t.v. on. They entertain themselves now! :D

Yes. always, since day one, Once I turned on my stereo and it didn't work,, I was freaking out and was thinking I can't leave,.. then I hit the MUTE button and it worked, but I was panicked to leave him with no music. :rolleyes:

When we go to work we leave turn on the radio for Muffin and Biscuit. When we are just going out for a couple of hours we leave on the Cartoon Channel. I think they reallly do enjoy the 'noise'. :)

lexi watches tv everyday, i leave on cartoon network for her..
she loves it...she does watch it, especially when they make certain noises.
it keeps her company all day long when im gone...

I dont leave my music on but alot of people will leave either their tv on or the radio on for them!

I sometiems leave the tv on for Chachi and Jewels. Either on animal planet or cartoons.
