Only one of them was 10k the rest were much less. This guy is obviously just interested in making as much money as possible. Kind of rubs me the wrong way but ALL commercial breeders rub me the wrong way. It is impossible to have and breed that many dogs and give them the care they deserve.

Yes - there are people (wealthy people) who will pay that much for a puppy.

I have a wealthy friend - the nicest person in the world - and generous too - but, anyway, she just paid $10,000 to have her rather large bathroom painted. If she wanted to pay $10,000 for a puppy, she could easily afford it.

OMG was there chips of gold in that paint? My mom just had her whole kitchen remodelled, and paid 11,000 dollars!!

P. Diddy (Wait, it's Diddy)("P" was getting between him and his fans)(lol) does have a dog, but it's a maltese. Not a yorkie.

I saw it during his reality TV show on MTV earlier this year. I THINK he called it Cookie.

He sells different breeds and some mixes. There's a picture of Diddy and other stars under the reference section.

I agree with you, I heard Nicole Ritchie talking about her new puppy and the price she paid for it on a late night talk show. I guess she called the breeder and dropped her name and he quoted her some outrageous amount of money, then she called and pretended to be an old lady and he tried to sell her the same dog for something like $600. I think people will make as much money as they can, sad as it is!! :(

even if there are rich people who will spend 10k on a puppy at the drop of a hat, they're not in the market for a puppy often and they represent a very small segment of the population.... so i dont' see him selling 10k puppies on a regular basis all the time.

i really wonder what happens to these expensive puppies when no one wants to spend that much to purchase them? do they get "marked down"? does something else happen to them? i shutter at the thought.

ad yes - he IS A BROKER......and a bad one at that.

I feel so sorry for those puppies he has - he doesn't care about them one tiny bit....once they leave his place... he just pretty much blows you off. I've heard from someone directly.....IF your puppy is sick - he blows you off....if your puppy dies - he blows you off. It's a pretty much Cash and carry operation - buy the dog - hand over the big bucks ....and get outta his face...NOT A GOOD PLACE TO BUY A PUPPY

on the upside - for those who have a healthy puppy from Jeff D....more power to you and that's wonderful....but his reputation didn't get so bad by making people happy. I've talked to several people who have been there and they basically see thru him....he's very phony and money hungry.

The man my husband works for is filthy rich and he decided about 2 years ago he wanted to breed and sell cows..wanna know what one of his cows cost $50,000 and another one he owns was $35,000..and the government just gave him the money to build a new barn for these cows..well he got 80% covered..you'd be surprised at how many breaks the rich get that we don't..it's RIDICULOUS..
