Keeley totally picks me over my dh at night when we are sleeping. He loves to be right next to me, if my dh will pull him over to him, Keeley will get up and walk back over to me. He also is always trying to be on my lap when we are just home hanging out. He really treats me like I am his momma! There are times when he picks dH over me, but mostly when he is in the mood to wrestle. Sometimes I think it makes dh feel bad, but we had a dog trainer tell us that dogs will pick out one person in the family (usually the motherly one) and cling to them. I thought that was very interesting. |

This is going to sound so bad but it is just Simon, Hallie and I in my apartment but whenever someone is over (my mom visiting, my friend Tracy, my neighbor) Simon always clings on to them and will have nothing to do with me. He loves people and trusts everyone :) Hallie is a mama's girl, she is always by my side and is quite content with our life! |
Oh yes. Wosie is my girl, no doubt about it. The only time she wants to stick with Dave is when she is on the bed, and then she sleeps near him. I always say, "Wosie, come cuddle me", and she will lift her head, look at me, and lay her head back down on Daddy's leg! Any other time when we are up and around, she sticks to me like velcro! :p Dreama is Daddy's girl unless it is close to the time to eat. She knows who makes the meals, and will follow me around softly whining until I feed her. It's more funny than annoying! :D |

Ollie is most definitely a mammas girl. She follows me everywhere. When watching TV she has to be on my lap. Daddy is OK when I'm gone However when I'm babsitting my grandson, she wants to be wherever he is. |
Kloey is a mama's girl no doubt about it!! It's scarey cause a couple times she has been on my lap and my youngest daughter (9) went up to me and went to pet kloey and she started growling.... I didnt know what to do, I told Haleigh not to get in her face real quickly like that, butt hat was scarey. |
I can't tell if Schatzi like me or dh better :rolleyes: I'm with her most of the day, and she sticks to me like glue, then when dh gets home from work she follows HIM everywhere, but at night she'll always sleep next to me :D So I think SHE can't decide who she's more attached to yet :p |
Toto is one "fickle" Yorkie!! I am with her 24/7 and she loves me and makes every step that I make ....... until ........ Papa gets home from the office, then all bets are off!!! ;) She starts sitting by the door anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour before he gets home and when he walks in .... she's all over him and sticks to him like glue ...... until ..... she begins to get sleepy! Then she's "my girl" again!!!! :p She likes to go to bed between 9 - 10 and if I don't get ready and tuck us in, she cries and cries until we are in bed!! How weird is that?? ;) |
I would say me because I'm with them most of the day. As soon as hubby gets home Cookie goes nuts and melts in his arms lol. At night if Cookie and hubby have been sleeping for over an hour then Cookie will stay with him until late at night he walks over to me .Cookie sits with hubby watching TV and as soon as Cookie sees that I come to sit down then he will jump off hubby and sit on my lap! Lola is a love. She loves being with everyone,mostly my 9 yr old and me :) She loves hybby so much also,she kisses him until his face is about to fall off! Genie,Cookie & Lola |
Sailor defintely prefers me over anyone else...she sleeps with me and loves to cuddle and be rubbed on in my lap!! She truly is my "little teddy bear" Magic is my mom's shadow....she tends to pick her over anyone else, esp. if other people are around!! But both of the girls LOVE my dad, he is the one who gives them massages, plays ball with them at night and lets them go outside whenever they want to!! He spoils them and they know that.... |
Katy seems to like both of us but plays with us each differently. Whe it is time for bed, walk or eat she comes to me. She plays with the ball differently with her "daddy" than me. But all bets are off when my granddaughter is here. She sticks to her like glue. She is poised and ready for her to drop food. |
I truly think Bailey loves his momma more than anyone. He is great with everyone in the family but when I am around he doesn't leave my side. Plus I sneak him treats when no one is looking and he sleeps with me at night. My husband is looking forward to bringing Morgan home and making her his dog. I think he gets jealous sometimes of teh relationship Bailey and I have. Oh well. |
