At what age?...... Did your babies teeth get razor, needle sharp? Lily is biting me all the time, and her little teeth are like razors!! They really hurt!! She is 5 months old as of April Fool's Day! Thanks everyone!! |
Those are the baby teeth and at 5 months old she should start to lose them any time now:) The adult teeth are no where near as sharp because they have rounded tips.To get through the teething stage without needing miles of band aid (lol) I would get a very good/resistent chewing toy.If you baby choses to chew on your fingers and toes (which they ALWAYS do) give her the toy and try to draw her attention with it.To help with the teething its also a good idea to play tug o war with an old sock.My vet taught me this and it helps to loosen all of the baby teeth because they can get a good grip of it.Good luck!:) |

nala will be 6mths the 15th and none of hers have started falling out |
Our Lillie's fell out at about 7 months! |
You would be surprised how quickly they fall out when they finally do..lol.Jess had all of her razor sharp baby teeth one day,and the next she was missing about 5 teeth!! I only ever found the bigger ones when they fell out because the small ones seemed to disapeer over night.I think they swallow them. The baby teeth fall out quickly and the adult teeth come in just as fast.In less than 3 weeks,Jess lost ALL of her baby teeth and all of her adult teeth came in.I was expecting to have to have them pulled, but she didnt give the vet the chance;) |
Hefner had blood on a chew toy the other night and a little later my daughter ran up to me with a tooth! We put it in his baby book. He is 6 months old. |
