West Palm Beach,pet friendly. They let us in the restaurant!!
 

I drove down to West Palm Beach to have lunch with my hubby. I took the Cookie's stroller ( birthday gift) and dressed up Lola and Cookie .We went walking through their stores,restaurants and fountains. I went into all the stores with no problems. Everyone was so ,so nice and coming to say hi to our furbabies! I knew that we could eat outdoors at one of the restaurants and didn't even think about eating inside! Well we get there and the hostess said " You can eat inside if you guys like" I was like "are you sure?" so we went in and Cookie & Lola were sooooo freaking quiet the entire time we were there! Lola fell asleep and Cookie was sitting down just watching all the customers lol. We had a crowd once we sat down by the fountains to sip some hot Starbucks coffee. People kept coming up to us, then kids . I thought I would see people laughing or joking that we had a stroller but instead everyone kept saying how cool it was to have them ride safely with us. I will deffinately be going back with the furkids! If anyone is thinking of getting a stroller and has any doubts, get one! They have them very affordable at www.justpetstrollers.com . The one I got was $89 including shipping! I got mine through ebay because hubby wanted it here by Cookie's birthday and it got here Wednesday on his actual birthday! Tomorrow is his birthday party . I've invited several YT members . Iwill take plenty pictures of all the yorkies,the games we played and "cake & icecream time" for all the doggy guests.

That's is so great. We were going to come to Fl. in a few months. Where is West Palm Beach where you at? is that whole city like that? Pet friendly? Hotel's and such???
We must got somewhere that it's pet friendly. I've been places to where they weren't allowed on the sidewalk!!! & I was so mad.. we were hours away from home. but we come back!!!!

I have the SUV 5th Ave for my boys. They love it and so do I.......Keeps them safe and me sane when we are traveling. Strollers are Super! :)

cool. :) i think more and more restaurants are becoming aware of the fact that dogs are increasing in popularity in urban areas and are changing their 'rules and regulations' to be more accomodating. if we knew of more places in the city that were dog-friendly, i'm sure we'd be going out more often. ;)

I don't know if everywhere in West Palm beach is pet friendly but I can tell you this... It's called City Place. Do a google search and type in West Palm BEach City Place and I'm sure you will see a link. It has all the namebrand stores ,Armani Exchange,Pac Sun, Pottery Barn, Macy's and lots of restaurants and cafe's. A lot of them are outdoor dining and you won't have a problem with outdoor dining for sure! They also have a Pet Boutique near City Place called The Pampered Pup,It's like 5 min from there and they also have a website. Lots of stuff for the super pampered pup!
I live 1 hr North of West Palm beach but I visit often to meet my hubby for lunch or dinner since he works there.

I am so jealous!!! I live in Northern California and this little worker at Sams Club wouldn't let me bring in my yorkie puppy that was inside my jacket she saw his head and freaked out...ughhhh

I work literally 2 minutes away from City Place! I always take TeeJay to that doggy store. The lady is super nice there, she always gives TeeJay yummy snacks.. for free! I highly recommend City Place. They have a movie theatre, tons of restaurants and stores, clubs, barnes and noble, comedy club, even free trolley rides! And their water fountain is beauuuutiful! TeeJay loves going there because, like what Cookie2 said, they are extremely pet friendly.

Oh yea, Cookie2, which restaurant did you dine at with your furbabies? I'd love to take TeeJay one day.

That is great that they were pet friendly. My neice takes her Yorkie Oliver everywhere here and to a restaraunt here that allows her to bring him in. I don't think that they are necessarily pet friendly I think more that she carries him in her Juicy Couture carrier and they don't even know he's there :D Now George on the other hand would be noticed especially since he would be trying to peak his head out to be nosy:)

I don't know if I'm spelling the name of the place correctly but I think it was
Cheeburger Cheeburger. There's a bunch of pictures on the wall of people who eat the 1lb burger. They have a kids wall of pics too for 1/2 lb burgers.When we were there ,there was a kid who ate a 1/2lb burger and everyone clapped and took a polaroid pic for him to put on the wall. Sounds a bit unhealthy to eat a 1lb burger! But I think I would eat one if I didnt eat the entire day and went there at night lol

I have been to that place in Ft laud :)

I've been there! I went with a friend and he was able to finish the 1 lb burger, so his picture is up there! I, however, will NEVER be able to even finish a 1/2 lb burger so trying a 1 lb is out of the question. That place has really yummy shakes though.
