Are there any dog friendly hotels in Myrtle Beach???? I am plannig the family Spring Break vacation and am looking for pet friendly hotels in the Myrtle Beach area. I have searched High and low for a hotel, in Myrtle beach, that will allow Roxi to come, but they have all said no to pets. Can anyone, who has taken their furbaby with them to Myrtle, help me! I don't want to take her to the vets office( kennel ) for that long but I dont know what else to do. She is a part of this family too, and it wont be fun without her. HELP!!!!!!!!! :( :( |
when you call the hotel..... you must specify you have a '5' pound dog. Cause all hotels won't allow dogs because a dog could mean 150 lbs. I travel everywhere with my MaeMae and to tell you the truth.... most hotels allow her due to her size. Maybe pay a little extra but it is never a big deal. Also.... most of the time... nobody even knows she is with me! It depends how well your dog travels. Good Luck! :) |
This will be her first time traveling so I am kinda worried about trying to sneak her in...could be a disaster! |
there is a website called petswelcome.com, give it a whirl, and I dont know what they have there but motel 6 takes dogs and will not charge you. good luck |
Try the comfort and quality inns/suites. Most of them allow small dogs. Have fun at Myrtle...It gets crazy there spring break! I've been there many times. I used to love the craziness, the way it seemed like no one ever went to bed. Now I have to have a more layed back beach.(I'm turning into an old fogie I guess, lol) I go to Holden. It's 36 miles from N. Myrtle and we still tend to ride to Myrtle for the day some times when we're down. They are closing the famous pavilion/magic attic after this season. Thats really sad too. I have alot of memories at that place. You can ride the "rainbow" and see all out over the ocean. Hope you have a fun and safe trip. |
ALL Motel 6's allow pets - nationwide. Most Super 8's we have come across allow pets. You might try those. They are not top of the line places, but they are always clean and very reasonable. No pet deposit at Motel 6 either. Have fun on your trip! |
Myrtle Beach is tough when it comes to dogs. Seriously, it's hard to find one that will budge on that rule. My suggestion is try to find a Quality Inn and Suites? I think they allow pets. Most don't.....we ran into that problem when we went back in Feb. and had to end up leaving Sully with my parents. |
Petswelcome.com is an excellent site. Any Lowes hotel accepts pets. They actually have a pet package as well as doggie room service and treats in the minibar. |
Sheraton, W and Four Seasons allow dogs....I doubt there is a Four Seasons or a W, but I bet you can find a Sheraton in Myrtle Beach. Some Sheratons have a small charge, some don't. It just depends on the property. (I"m pretty sure W and Four Seasons always have an additional charge.) When I lived in SC we used to go to MB often. I haven't been in about 10 years, but the last few times I went, we rented houses or condos. Its sad to hear about the pavillion... :( |
I looked up myrtle beach on petswelcome, com and they have several places listed one of them is La Quitna, check out that website. |
