What type of harness do you use?
 
I have a bog standard nylon type one but find it rubs Pippa's fur and she devloped matts.
Anyone else have this problem??
Can anyone recommend a better one maybe fabric??
I was looking at the Puppia one, does anyone have one of those?

Dezi uses the step in harness (Petsmart) and the Cloak & Dawggie one from http://www.cloakanddawggie.com/wtpor...php?site_id=21. The Cloak and Dawggie one is fabric and velcro.

My favorite harnesses are the vest and dress harnesses I have gotten from Shana at Tinkerbells Closet. I also got one that I love from Joy.

I have several Upcountry harnesses and love them. They are step in so they're easy and they come in tons of cute patterns. I only put them on if we're going to be out but have never had trouble with matting.

I have a vest harness from joy and a regular harness but she only wears that one when she is wearing clothes. I love the vest harness. Puppia's harnesses are good also, but I dont have one, yet.

Sully matts up if he wears a harness - or clothes in general. But I just take a few minutes at the end of the day and brush them out. It isn't too bad but yeah it's annoying. If ever anyone finds a magic harness that doesn't cause mattes lol let me know.

Lucky's hair mats something awful when he wears clothes or harnesses but the Puppia does very well! I hardly ever see mats when he wears that! I would give it a try. I found them on ebay for $20 shipping included. :thumbup:

I have ordered a harness that looks exactly like the pink puppia one except this one has a small pocket on to store poo bags.
Its made of same material, when it arrives i will let you know what its like :D

I have the Puppia one and I hate it. It never stays on straight and slides all around him during our walks no matter how tight or loose I have it. I don't like that it goes around his neck, either.

i just ordered two - one that goes around the neck and body and is the adjustable leather kind and the other (i beleive) just goes around the body its a step-in harness made of a soft sueded material... i will get back to you when they come in this week...

My Tinkerbell hasn't worn one yet, but when she is ready i'll ge the same Chiquito(my maltese) has, they have it in pink.

I use the Gooby soft suede harness with matching leash on all 4 pups. Been using them for several years now and have had no problems.
