Vet Recommendation Needed in Austin, Texas Does anyone have a Vet they really love in Austin? |
I've emailed my sister-in-law to ask her who her vet is. They live in Cedar Park but I'm not sure where their vet actually is. Last summer my daughters went to stay a few days with her and she set up a vet visit for my oldest daughter. She (my daughter) is so into animals - always watching anything animal related on tv (surgeries, rescues, etc.) and I swear can actually "talk with" any animal she comes across. She'll be 12 in a couple weeks but she already knows she wants to be a vet. My SIL's vet let my daughter spend the whole day with him - she got to assist with a couple surgeries and exams. She was in "dog" heaven, let me tell you! My sister really likes this vet. I'll let you know what she says.... |
Thanks! I can't wait until I hear back from you. |
My oldest son loves his vet in Austin...I'll ask him who he is too... |
Here's what my SIL said.... They go to Arbor Animal Clinic on Balcones Woods Drive (NW Austin). The vet they really love no longer practices - he oversees the clinic (he's the owner). They really like Dr. Faught - he's the one that worked with Skylar (my daughter) last summer. Hope that helps!! |
Thanks! A friend of mine that has a Yorkie recommended Dr. Simmons at Burnet Animal Hospital, so I set an appt for her shots there tomorrow. If I don't like him, then I'll try your recommendation next! It's always good to have choices. What's weird, is I hadn't talked to my friend in 6 months and out of the blue, she called me late yesterday. So, I already made the appointment and hate to cancel, it's at 9:15 in the a.m. I'll let you know how it goes. |
