Yorkie Shuffle? I asked Kloey if she was hungry and she did this little shuffle thing with her back legs, it was so funny... I think I will name it the Yorkie Shuffle! :lol tears I have also seen her do this after she went poo poo, is this something they all do? It was so funny! Ok now she is staring me down, she says " you asked me if I was hungry so now lets do something about it" :yelrotflm |
:D :p Oh my lol now that is too funny. My little Babe girl does this kick slide kick thing when I say eat eat or time for potty.. She runs and slides across my floor. I think they are excited to acomplish something and to know they are about to eat.. :) Take care and I hope she will continue to give you lots of laughs and love.. :animal-pa Babe Girl :animal36 Mommy :animal-pa Quote:

That sounds very cute! I don't think my little guy does this, but I am sure there are others that do. These little ones have so much personality!! :p |
Magic does that as well....esp. after she poops or wants us to pay attention to her!! It is the cutest thing when she does it.... |

Pixie will do this donkey kick thing if I make her sit in one spot for too long. It's the funniest thing. She just kicks her back legs out and gets 'em back under her before they land... the whole while her front feet are firmly planted. I can't believe she can do it so quick!! |
Rowdy does the back leg kick (shuffle) thing too! :D My husband calls it the "coyote stomp." Rowdy's new baby brother does it too and he's only 9 weeks old  I guess it must be genetic!!!!! Anyway, it is soooooooo cute!!! :animal36 |
My 4 yr old does this shuffle when he wants my attention or extremely excited about something. He started to miss his pad while pooping, so went back to the "praise party" when he poops on the pad. As soon as he does, he runs out to the rug in front of me and scratches up a storm for that treat! If I am ignoring him he will start the shuffle for my attention...and of course a bit of vocal to make sure I did not miss anything. This is different than marking their turf. I saw a bit of this in my labador as well, but not as dominant. |

My pom has made an art form out of the hind legs, kick dirt to the rear, shuffle always after he poops and at other times as well, playing or something. My possible morkie does it too when she's excited and playing with me or her brothers. |
