Yorkie Rescue Does anyone ever look up on the yorkie rescue page and read all the sad stories and start crying? They are so sad, I always want to adopt them all, I always have to stop myself from getting my credit card out and donating tons of money that I really don't have but their sweet little faces just make me cry. |
:( NO I haven't came across that page yet but I know I will be just like you if I ever do read it because I to am an animal lover and would like nothing best for all the animals across the world. I pray that they will all get good loving homes. Love, Babe girl * Mommy Quote:

Yes I have and there are some horrible stories. It is soooooo sad. But there don't seem to be as many available for adoption as we were led to believe. There are none in my area at all. |
Nichole - For most of them the bad is behind them as they are now in rescue and are the getting the needed care and love they deserve - it is the ones in the shelters that break my heart because the clock is ticking on them. No one can save them all but rescue does it, one dog at a time. Every year I sit down and figure out what I can do for rescue, what I can do for shelters (Humane, Pound & Best Friends), National Wildlife and Womans Issues. I then make my donations for the year. I know I can't do it all but it helps if I do something. :) |
I can't stand it either. |
Two of the 3 dogs I have had in my life were rescue dogs and I love/loved them so much. They truly have so much personality and I am just so thankful that I got them more then them being thankful that they have me. I live in a community where there are stray dogs all the time and I know about 3 homeowners who have taken them in and love them, I just think that is so great. I would do that too if I could have another dog. I always promote the pound puppies because they have so much heart. Not that my little yorkie doesn't she is definitely a bundle of love too!!! |
It is a very sad thing, all the homeless dogs. But God bless the rescues! They do so much for these babies, and without them I wouldn't have my Tripp!! Hearing their stories is so sad, but they need to be heard, along with the rescues, something has to be done! |
