They ARE KIDS I loved hearing the TREAT them like my REAL kids stuff - I do that with mine and besides making me FEEL REALLY GOOD cause mine are grown.I think the puppies like the structure and need to fit in to our schedule ! My baby stayed up MOST of the night her 1st few nights and I would just put her next to me - cover her up with her blankie and - VOOM - she's asleep ! ALL night too ! I get her up in the middle of the night - she does her business - gets a Chewie thingie and eventually goes to sleep next to me...It is LOVE ! |
We've got separate bedrooms at home because we both snore a lot, so Higgins starts out with Don and usually winds up with me. I put a stool by my high bed. Pogo is getting old (12) and now prefers his bed on the floor when we are home. When we are in our camper, Higgins sleeps in Don's bed and Pogo sleeps in mine! I remember many nights when I was a widow living in Vermont, when I slept with a Sheltie, a Sheltie puppy, a tailess cat, Pogo, and a ferret under the covers! Sure was nice and warm! Then there was the night when an ermine got in the house somehow and all of them were chasing it around my bedroom at 3 in the morning! The ermine left and never came back.....hmmm.... Higgins was only 7 wks old when we got him and we were sleeping on 24" wide beds in our camper! But we never rolled over on him......I sat on him once, though, and thought I had killed him! Stayed up all night watching over him......he's fine......a little crazy, though....do you suppose?????.....hmmmm |
Hi Mary Ellen!! Guess who has started snoring?! Yep! Toto!! I spent an hour online this AM trying every site I could find to see if maybe there was something wrong with her ... cold, allergy, etc. ... came up with zip! We just noticed her doing it last night and this morning while she was napping on my lap she was really LOUD!! :) It was so funny I started laughing and almost dropped her ... she never woke up ... just kept snoring!! ;) |
