Boston Meet up today!!
 

So there were a yorkie and maltese meet up in Boston today. I went there with a lot of courage without any dogs with me. It was very nice but I was very disappointed. Nobody came to approach me. I know one person had a different name on his/her name tag that I was told. Then some people didn't have name tags. So I couldn't really say anything ... or maybe I was too shy. I actually brought little chicken bone treats from my favorite dog bakery for each YT member whom I was planning to meet. But then.. oh well. I waited for an hour, but I left. Oh.. I met a nice lady from NH, a yorkie member at a dog bakery then meet up.. but I didn't get to talk to her much.

Anyway.. it was very disappointing for me. I guess Guinness and Kahlua get all the treats!!

But you know what? it's okay I am happy today!! Stacy got puppies.. so good day!!!

I think there were three at least because I saw the names of dogs... who knows some people might have same names. But then I know they were registered for meet up. Anyway.. I know for sure that one person had different name on the name tag, so I guess she/he didn't want to say her/his name to me. I even told some people how I look like.. and I had my name tag written big letters "MICHIKO" so.. you know what.. that is FINE FINE FINE!! I was just so disappointed because I even went to get some goodies for YT members' yorkies. My bf and I were disappointed.

But then we decided to go to see some dog speciality stores ... for my future dogs... I wanted to keep my special day..!! I even went to eat Sushi today to celebrate new borns at Stacy's!! Oh.. and I also called her.. She was as sweet as she was when I met her... and how she is online.. so it is all good.

I don't know if I would go to meetup though. maybe I will.. but I wouldn't expect YT members to come to me... I think high expectations are not good!

That is okay though.. it is not your fault. There were at least two other members there that had different names on their name tags or decided to be anonymous!!!! I knew you weren't there. I know you would have talked to me, Jackie. Maybe I should give you my phone number sometime... I wish I knew.. then my bf could have definitely given you a ride!! Oh well. You just missed goodies that I brought!!! hehe.

I was just disappointed.. I don't know if I would go back there again... I was looking forward to it.. and my heart was bouncing.. but oh well.

And yes.. one of them might be mine!!! I have to visit there but also talk to Stacy more.. But we are thinking about one of the little guys :)

Awww....I'm sooo sorry you were disapointed! Maybe they were shy too! I know many people mistake my quiet, cool exterior for coldness. I've had people say to me "You're nothing like I thought you would be...you're so NICE! I'm a little shy myself upon first meeting, but talk with me a bit and you'll be like "okay...you can shut up now!"...lol

Give it a second try and be brave! Sidle up to someone and tell them how cute their yorkie is...or you like their bow! You might be pleasantly surprised! :)

P.S. When I get my pup, we'll come visit you out East and parade our yorkies around in their new coats, then we'll swing by Stacy's and annoy her, sounds like fun huh?

Michiko - I was there at the boston meet up and didn't see you!!! Well, of course I don't know what you look like, but I wish I could've found you because I would have loved to meet you. I'm sorry it turned out to be a disappointing meeting - come to the next meet up and we can chat. And I'm sure Frodo will LOVE your treats :) Again, I apologize!!!! :aimeeyork

If I think of it, I think I saw the dog on your pic! Frodo came to me many times I think.

AWWW Michiko, my fault completely for not scoping you out :( How can I make it up to you??? Maybe Frodo and I can come visit you or he can buy you a cup of coffee on a nice day where we can sit out by the patio. Let me know!!
