Snoring Yorkie HELP!!!, I have a miniture Yorkshire Terrier who has starting snoring so loudly that my husband and I cant sleep in the same room as her. Her snoring has gradually got louder and louder. There is no problems with her airways and she only snores when she is in a deep sleep. It has got so loud now that we can hear her snoring upstairs in the bedroom whilst we are downstairs in the kitchen!!. Any suggestions as we cant take much more of the sleepness nights and I hate her not being in the room beside us at night. |
My Pom is a loud snorer I just got used to it. |
Thanks for your reply. I'm really trying to get used to it but my husband and I are such light sleepers that it is difficult. I cant concentrate at work because I am so tired with lack of sleep. She snores louder than a human man. She is such a beautiful little thing but when she falls asleep she sounds like "something from the deep". :D |
Both my yorkie girls snore pretty loud. My boyfriend and i just think its really funny and laugh ever time we hear them. The best is when Ruby is laying on her back with her four legs up in the air, sound asleep, snoring like a sailor, it's the cutest/funniest thing. |
buy ear plugs, or ask your vet if he has any ideas as to help stop or lessen her snoring. :) |
If I had a dog that snored "that loud," I'd be a raving maniac - More than anyone I know, I totally cannot handle snoring. I would never get any sleep. So - I'm afraid my Yorkie would have to sleep someplace else - darn it! Both the dogs I have now - snore - more like "purring" quietly. This doesn't bother me. Carol Jean |
Daisy & Rocky sleep in the laundry room which is right outside our bedroom door. They both do snore lightly and they both from time to time have either night mares or loud dreams. ;-) |
Sometimes Remmy snores but not that loudly...maybe a call to the vet may be in order... :animal36 |
Do like i do with my husband and nudge him. :yelrotflm |
Bugaboo Snores... But it doesn't bother me a bit! :dogzzz: |
here's a small idea... I know this might sound crazy but I used to have a big dog who snored like a horse and a humidfier worked. They get dry noses to when they sleep ;) |
Ok here is the deal! I will trade you the snoring yorkie for my snoring and farting husband. :D That is what I deal with all night long.. Sometimes I just wish there was an extra bed that HE could go to! I would get much more sleep! Even though the smell could knock out a horse and gag a magit! For some reason I still sleep next to him! LOL I know your problem is serious! Sorry! Had to vent a little myself. :D Since he is sleeping by me now! I would try to get some moisture in the air or something. That has seemed to help my hubby's snoring. I think snoring is worst when the air is dry. Good luck!!!!! |
