i figured i would share this I was setting here this morning , China and her pups are right next to me and my 2 year old knows how to open her kennel , Well I was watching him as he opened the kennel and took the puppies out China let him to my suprise. But as I watched him he sat on the floor next to china and was kissing these little darlings he didnt hurt them but i thought it was so cute watching him with these pups i just had to share with you all, And also i brought china here while she was still pregnet I thought she was going to be irritable around my kids because she was not used to them but she loves them she is always wanting them to play with her. :) |
how nice! sounds like he is a gentle 2 year old, I dont think I would have had a yorkie when my kids were small, even now my 10 year old does not watch where she is going and I hear little schreeches! What kind of pups are they? |

My youngest just turned 2 when we got our first yorkie. I've never had trouble with him hurting any of our pets. I know they say yorkies aren't good for little children. I disagree. I know alot of people that have small breed dogs with young children. I think it's in how you teach your children and your pets. Probably opened up a whole new can of worms. lol.. Yorkies love to run and play and what better than having someone young enough to run and play with them.. I do have to say though. Blaine is 3 and I still haven't let him pick up tashas puppies. I let him old them. But Imake him sit down and I hold the puppy while he's holding them..with the execption of the day i took the pictures. I did let him hold them that time in his lap. Not that I think you are wrong for letting your baby so don't take it that way. I was just telling how I do things.. I'm always afraid i'm going to say the wrong thing on here lol...I hate that.. ;) |

I know and understand the obligations of small kids and tiny puppies , But my kids know and understand when i tell them not to touch. i also tought them to sit down and that i had to be around and they seems to understand that to. but what was cute is i didnt have to say anything to him he picked them up sat next to china and was kissing them he wasnt hurting them i thought it was really cute more so becauae i didnt have to yell at him to set down. and that china let him. |
I know..i love watching blaine kiss the puppies..he tells me i got to kiss them mom o.k. lol...He has one favorite one..he doesn't even pay attention to the others. I think it's good that they are getting a chance to learn..thumb up to you.. |
