Hair..help Why is it my Yorkie's ponytails ALWAYS fall forward. I pull it up in the corner of their eyes to the top of the head. But, before I know it its flopping in their faces... HELP :D |
I would love to know also. My Yorkie's also falls forward in the face. Darnit! |
do you use a small rubber band? |
I have used EVERYTHING...elastic bands, rubber bands, scruchies, barretts, clips... I am wondering if their hair is to long... |
that could be, I'm not sure how long Kloey's is, but I dont have any trouble with hers, after I have it up I kinda tease it out and it looks like a fountain sorta like. |
Sebastians hair is at least 3.5" and Sweet Pea 2.5". They may have to take a trip to the groomer.. |
Maybe try to tie the hair further back from her forehead, then the ponytail will fall back instead of front. |
This may be a silly question since I've had Yorkies before but I always had them proffesionaly groomed, Do you cut the hair on the topknot or just let it keep growing? I am having trouble with Cali's topknot flipping over forward and didn't even think of cutting it. |

Gradually..as the hair grows longer...move the band towards the back of their heads a little ...My Chanel has that problem ... her hair is probably 10" long....I HAVE to braid it or put her topknot back ....or she has this long ponytail covering one eye. |
Funny but I was wondering about this too. Jewels just started doing this. |
