I am keeping them both I talked my hubby into it. I think he fell in love with him to. It is not easy becauses he wants to hurt my 5.5 pd and I havent had come near the 1.15 pup. This cute guy that is 4.5 is very agressive and can bite hard on us and my oldest yorkie. I hope they becomes friends. I understand some have been upset with all of this. I wish you knew what I was going thru here also. It started out with size and you all were very nice to me and helped me come around. Then it was him picky on my oldest, and his agressiveness.all said thank you for all of your support and prayers. |
I am very happy that you have decided to keep him. Don't mistake his behavior for aggresiveness though. Remember that he's simply a baby. He needs to learn that it's not okay to bite. Best of luck to you and your Yorkie family! |
He's only 9 wks right? How long have you had him? He was probably taken away from his mom too early and didn't learn any social skills; you'll have to teach him right from wrong since his mother didn't have a chance to. |
Well, I truly hope it all works out!!!! If he keeps biting, you can always hire a behavorist! But I am sooooo glad that you are keeping them!!!!! He is already a part of you family. I am soooo happy!!! I will say some prayers for you that this all works out for you!!!!! Hugs to you!!! |
awesome! im very glad you have decided to keep him. if he is this young, there is still hope, a lot of hope. he may just be playing, but if it gets too rough make sure he is taought was is ok and what is not. good luck!!! and i really want to see pictures of all these babies we keep hearing about!!! |
I am so glad you decided to try and work it out. When I got Cali at 9 weeks she was a terror with the biting and jumping all over my 9 year old 12lb pom. They worked it out for the most part and Cali outgrew the bitinn phase. Good luck and good thoughts. |
I am glad you decided to keep your boy. He is still a pup he will calm down and all your dogs will keep each other company. |
Glad your keeping him.....I think he will calm down as time goes on but if not then you may need to make some changes with correction. |

I don't mean that in a bad way, I understand where you are coming from. A dog that is always causing tension in the family or always in trouble for something or other really deserves a home where he can just be himself. (a dog shouldn't live his life being a "bad dog! Stop that!", you know what I mean?) Sadly not every dog fits smoothly into every family- they have different personalities just like we do... sometimes it's just not an easy fit. I wish you the best and hope everything works out well! |
I am so glad that you have decided to keep them both! In time they will all get along great! Moving from home to home can be very stressfull on these little guys! |
