Intense Separation Anxiety? Does your furbaby freak out when you leave the room? Boss waits at the top/bottom of the stairs and if I'm gone too long he'll whine and bark. I don't know what to do. I can't carry him EVERYWHERE like to get a drink or something. I feel like I'm betraying him by leaving him alone, but I know thats crazy. Anyone else with intense separation anxiety? I'm not sure what else to call it, hehe. Oh yeah, he's really spoiled, I know thats rare on here, but maybe that's why? :p |
Every step I take, mine takes. Sometimes I complain about it, but the second he's not at my feet, I freak out, so maybe its me that has the intense separation anxiety! |

haha yea tripp has anxiety when my mom leaves a room. if its dinner time he wont eat unless shes within sight. if she leaves he goes bounding after her. its hilarious and annoying lol |
My yorkies cry when I leave the house and whine and pace when other family members are home. When I go out I put my yorkies and my boxer in their crates (for their safety). Daisy and Bear together, Breeze (boxer) in her own. My yorkies may bark... but Breeze goes crazy, she drools so much in a hour that she can soak several towels, she really goes into shock, we have been working with her for a long time and its slowly getting better. |
Yes, I have several of these little wonders and I am a stay at home mommie with them, so they think I am one of the pack and search for me when I leave the room, then when they find me you would think I have been gone for a week... :D |

I know exactly what your talking about, my baby Yorkie 10 weeks old is the same when when I first got I put her into her cage in the night she woke up a few hours later and went crazy, I took her out and ever since that very first day she has to sleep in my bed, then when I would leave her alone in her cage during the day she would cry and howl, and spill her water everyway, I have now started leaving her in the kitchen she still cries when I leave but is slowly getting a little better, she also goes into her cage on her own, not very much but sometimes when her bed is in there. As hard as it is to hear and see those cute little furbaby faces crying it slowly gets better. And in my case VERY slowly |
