Shaved Yorkies
 
How many of you shave your yorkies down for the summer months?
Mine love to play outside so much, that I'm getting ready to shave them down for the summer. I love the long hair but they stay so much cooler and cleaner.

i shaved lexi when i first got her cause she was matted and waited so long for it to grow, i would hate to cut it short. dont know yet what im gonna do.
if it get too hot for her, i might give her a nice short cut...

We had Chachi shaved down his last cut but I doubt if we do it again. I like the hair a little longer. Jewels I let grow out.

I just had mine shave down today! But I left the legs and thier faces longer!!! I forgot to tell her to leave the tail hair long, so its short now. But they look sooo cute!

Here ya go---I still want the legs and face even longer, but here they are!

Its hard to tell in these pics, I will have to get some better ones here after they wake up! The hair on the body is about an inch and the rest is longer.

Thank you--I was very happy with it this time! I can't wait til their faces get even longer! Here is one of Livvie---she has hair way longer than Weeg and Brasco's and her body hair is still really short!!!!!

My niece actually keeps her Yorkie's hair cut low like that all year. I am going to get Georgie's cut shorter in May. I think your babies looks absolutely adorable :D

AWWWW...They look really cute ..that is a nice cut.

i just got my boys cut really short. i know its not the classic yorkie look, but what can i say? both tucker and tripps ears are down and they're pretty big, so hey i figured short hair would be cute, and cooler. i just posted a thread of the with their new cuts, called "photo shoot" if you want to see what they look like. im not on my normal comp. so i cant post them right now

They are cute..Loved the sitting up pic.. :thumbup:

the 2 boys i have i shave my self as they get so scruffy and its a lot easyer to look after, they also seem to like it as they run around like a couple of mad mutts after :eek:
