what's the proper thing to do?
 
my bunjee is starting to go potty outside whenever we go on longer walks. he won't look for grass tho. he'll just stop wherever he is and go. so when he poos, i pick it up and toss it in the nearest garbage receptacle. what's the proper thing to do with pee tho?

my opinion is if it is on concrete, then let it go, I agree about picking up the poo

yeah, so far it's been on the pavement on the sidewalk and i've just been leaving it alone. just wasn't sure if i should be doing something else with the little puddle...?

the only other thing I could think of if you dont like leaving the weewee, is to carry a water bottle with you on the walks and then rince it off with the water?

Shelby did the same thing for awhile (she is wee pad trained). I started taking her out to a grass area at the beginning of our walks and spending a lot of time there. She picked up the scent of other dogs and started going there. Now we start out in the park every morning and she pees and pees and pees and pees :eek:

or should i say she marks and marks and marks and marks ;)

whatever. now she goes on grass, not pavement.

In germany people carry water botles around with them and put it on the pee to kind of rinch it off I guess..some people carry stuff to put on the pee that makes the smell and etc go away.. its "says" it get read of the bacteria.. people in germnay are VERY clean and HATE it when dogs pee and ect on the side walk.
