Awkward Stage Did anyone have your little Yorkies go through a awkward look stage. Lol, I know this sounds weird, but my Rhapsody is 13 wks old and her hair has reached the a length that it seems to stick out rather than laying smoothly. It's very silky to the touch and doesn't look too bad, and she had a bath two days ago. It'll lay smooth right after I brush her, but as she plays and lays down it'll begin to look like it's sticking out again, lol. My husband says he sees no difference, but he doesn't even notice if I get a hair cut, lol. Also I'm seeing more golden hair coming in around her eyes. Does this make sense to anyone, lol? Or am I just crazy, I keep the brush on me all the time now so if she sits in my lap I'll start brushing. I know she's getting sick of it because she stole the brush and ran off with it a little bit ago, lol. Also the hair around her eyes keeps poking her in the eyes and making them tear! :aimeeyork Jess |
Cali was like that too. She's 9 months old and still scraggly looking except right after a bath. Now when she was in for her surgery they shaved her stomach and leg and she looks like a mess! Hopefully it will grow back fast. |
Yep both of mine look like that when they are in the inbetween stage just let it grow out a little bit more and it will lay down better. I keep My chachi in a pyppycut because he has a cotton coat. Jewels hair is grown out because she is a silk and I just love her hair. She is so cute with long hair I just love it. |
Yes! Stewie was like that from 16 weeks til he was about 6-7 mos |
They all go through it dont feel bad! They will get over it dont worry too much! |
Thank You Thank you, everyone! I feel better, lol, and I've put down the brush (at least for an hour), lol! Ya'll are great!!! I love YT! :D Jess |
