Couldn't find Gus,,,,,,, 2 Attachment(s) Ok I did somethings a little different today. Since we went to the snow yesterday my closet was torn apart trying to find all our snow stuff. So when we got back I didn't want to put everything back so I just shoved it in the corner. Well I couldn't take it seeing everything out so Instead of taking a shower first like I usually do, I cleaned my room first. Changed bedding and everything. So the bed was made before I went in to the shower. Gus usually waits for me right outside the door but now that it's so cold he'll wait for me on my bed under the warm blankets. Well there was no blankets to cover with and when I came out and didn't see him waiting for me I started to panic. I called out to him and nothing. I ran down stairs and couldn't find him. I ran back up to get dressed because I didn't want to be running around like a mad woman with just a towel. By this time I am starting to cry and still yelling for him. I noticed one of my pillows moving on my bed and the next thing you know,,, Gus pops his head out. I just about died. He must have been a deep sleep or something. I got him out and gave him hugs put him back down and he went right back I guess it must have been really warm in there and he did not want to get out from there till I finally came down stairs. AAAAHHHH this little brat almost gave me an heart attack! Just look at him sticking his head out as if he's sayin what I'm right here now leave me alone! |
oh I am sorry you suffered the panic attack and I KNOW exactly what you mean! Glad he is fine, hope you are too :D (these little guys are too quiet sometimes) |
hahaha he looks so cute in between the pillows like "WHAT'S ALL THE YELLING ABOUT, I'M TRYING TO NAP HERE"...Coco has done this to me on numerous occasions and I still cry and freak out each and every time. It's like now she knows I panic and she does it on purpose..haha |
I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who goes from "zero to panic" very quickly if my little one is not in my sight. I feel more "normal" now talking with all of you "yorkie mommies". |
Those pics are funny! It looks like he was in a deep sleep! I have done that before too. Chloes favorite blanket is black and tan so she blends right in with it and I have a hard time finding her half the time! |
That is Tucker's favorite place to sleep, right between the pillow! We don't ever lose him because he is 10 pounds, and can't hide. We used to lose Bandit all of the time! He was somewhere between 4 and 5 pounds and he used to get locked in closets all of the time. Whenever we would open a closet he would walk in. Then we'd close the door and not know he was there. Then we'd walk around calling his name and listen for the little "yip, yip" to go find him. He used to give me a heart attack all of the time! Glad your story had a happy ending. |
Lolol Oh my goodness, I am so happy you found him!! :p I would have been right beside you weeping too as we tore the place apart looking for Gus!!! :( |
Vainchick5, I don't know how you do it. I was so scared. Right away I'm thinking someone came and got him. Lacy's Mom, no you are not the only one who panics when their yorkie isn't in sight! Just ask my family. Gus is so tiny, that when I call him and he don't come I start to panic, it's then when the kids say, "mom look down before you start to panic" Because 9 out of 10 times he'r right at my feet the whole time. And yes I am ok now that I've gathered myself. My family is going to get a kick out of this one! |
Oh Silly Gus! He looks so cute! Isn't that the scariest thing ever? I hate it when Simon hides from me like that! |

Now I can tell the hubby and kids,,, see I'm not the only only one! JeanieK and Bonny's Mom does it too! |
I know what you mean! LOL, most of the time I'm running around yelling for either one of my girls and their happily trotting behind on heels, like "Gimme a break woman I'm down here already!...crazy kids!! :D |
