Poochie Bells?? Anyone use them?? Daisy is 19 weeks is it too late to start her with them? If not, what would be the best way to train her for them? She is pee pad trained and goes outside if I take her out there.. |
Come on?? No one uses these?? |
I made my own but they are the same concept. I don't think it is too late. Loki only goes outside, we don't do pads. Loki learned how to ring the bell in a day or two and now he rings it when he needs to go out. He's pretty good about ringing it only when he needs to go, not just when he wants to go out and play, since he goes outside on a leash. We haven't had any accidents since we started using the bells months ago. |
I made some last weekend and have just started using them. The only problem Sydney is having is that she rings them just to go outside and play. Hopefully this will improve but she is only 19 weeks old and learned quickly how to ring and what it meant. She's wearing me out until it improves. :doghouse: :woof: |
Never herd of these before. |
It is a bell you hang on the doorknob. At first, everytime you take the dog outside you put their paws up to ring the bell. Then they learn to ring the bells when they want to go outside. You can make them yourself by buying a bell and hanging it from the doorknob with string. |
Oh, that sounds like a good idea! Do you think it is to late to start with a 3yr old? |
Joey is trained to ring a bell when he wants to go outside. I just used a simple bell suspended from the door knob by a piece of twine. Yes, he does ring it when he wants to go out to play, but I'm fine with that! |
