Peanut Butter? is it safe?
 
snickers loves peanut butter, but i read somewhere that nuts are bad....is peanut butter ok?

I hear of some people putting it in their Kongs. So I would assume it's OK.

Vivi loves peanut butter...she has never had any problem with it...I always give her the smooth kind. It is her favorite treat :)

Yes, it’s safe. I use a small glob to get Ginger’s heart worm pills down. She loves it. :D

lexi get peanut butter in her kong everyday... no harm as of yet

Peanut butter is one of Bridget's favorite treats. I'll freeze a little bit in her Kong toy and she'll really work away at it! Never had any adverse reactions to it - I think (like anything) in moderation it's okay.

Hi read that most nuts are okay for dogs, except for walnuts - there's something in walnuts that can be really bad for dogs and I think yorkies in particular. But I feed my baby peanut butter all the time, he loves it!

I thought it was Macademian nuts they cant have. Yes peanut butter is fine. I give it to my dogs in their kongs. My husband every now and then feeds them peanuts too and Ive never had a problem with their stools or anything.

A kong is a plastic toy with a hole in the middle where you can put treats, such as peanut butter. You can get it at your local Petsmart.

I like to put a dab of peanut butter in Maddie's mouth and watch her tongue go lick, lick, lick...and lick some more! Makes me laugh!
