walking two
 
I was planning on taking my boys to the park today to run around somewhere new. However, it is hard to walk them both by myself, they always get tangled up and I am constantly trying to untangle them from each other. I was curious how you walk two dogs at once. Anyone have any suggestions. Astro just got his baby teeth out yesterday and I wanted to treat him to a nice day at the park but I can't leave Cosmo here because I want him to go too.

Well to tell you the truth I tried to walk both of my girls last night at the same time and it didn't work. They were both running in different directions, my hubby had to help me bc it was just not working for me.

I bought a leash from someone on ebay who makes them and it is the coolest thing I have ever seen. I bought one that has two attached and one that has three attached. Any ways they kind of swivel around so the dogs do not get tangled up.
I now have no problems walking two or three at a time.

This is the first time I have had 2 dogs at the same time and I tried to walk them both the other day. I'm sure anybody watching got a laugh out of it. I also ended up carrying them both back!

I so need that and have been looking for something like that for a while. Thanks for the tip going ebaying now...

You could try using a Coupler....

Maybe you could try just twisting the two leashes together and then they'd have to walk side by side.

If you don't find it on there let me know and I can try to find the name of the company. They actually have their own web site also. I bought several from them so if all else fails maybe if your interested I could sell you one for what I paid plus shipping.

I walk 2 dogs all the time. I don't have a fenced yard and we walk our dogs in the morning and evening. I just use ordinary leashes. The first few times it was difficult but they do get used to it. One always is the leader then the other follows behind. Our Yorkie is not the leader and he stays close by our side.

Tried that before I bought the other ones and I thought like you it was a good idea but it doesn't work well at all.

These are just leashes. That can clip onto a color or harness. It will allow you to walk two or three dogs as each ones has it's own clip so to speak. I have the two and three dog leash.

I walk 2 at the same time several times a day. I used to have some trouble but then I learned that I have to keep them on a short leash, one on one side of me and one on the other side. as long as I keep the leashes short it is no problem unless they see another dog. then it is hard to hold them back.

Those double and tripleadapters can be bought at petedge # isTP914 at $3.99.
I know a woman who has 2 Yorkies that could not be more different...one has to guide the other and this lead works well

I got a coupler at Petco for my two. Before I got it I would laugh at my self getting all tangled up and wonder who else was too.

I tried those and still got tangled up. So that's why I got the leashes that are two or three to walk at a time. Works great for me.
