puppy alert in Kemah Texas!
 
There is a woman who lives near the bay in Kemah Texas. She runs ads often for Yorkies, Westies, etc.

They are kept in pens and cages in her garage.....Many Yorkies and Westie babies from many different litters.

Although the garage is clean, AC and heated.....she obviously buys multiple puppies from many different breeders....you never see the parents and the puppies are very young.

I counted over 40 little ones. At at least $1000 on average...she is making a lot of money......

Where is Kemah? I live near the Coastal Bend and haven't heard of it.

Need to call the Houston ASPC, they might do something about her. I live in Beaumont and they came a few week ago to a little town by us and took a lot of puppies from a couple. Kemah is closer than we are so they might do something about her. Were does so post her ads?

PLEASE CALL the ASPCA they WILL help...especially if the conditions are not sanitary...I wonder if she has a license ? It's def worth calling about.

When I had to report a neighbor for letting a very sick dog go untreated and he was dying...I emailed them pictures of him in their backyard (they are VERY graphic or I would post them) (I had to hang on my fence to get the shots)....they were out here in 2 days and took the dog to save it.

Kemah puppies
 
Kemah is up the coast from Galveston, Texas City.....sorry I am from Oklahoma.....but it is not far from Galveston, I think.

The cages are clean,,,the puppies are clean....the garage is clean.......but there are pens pens pens of very young beautiful yorkies and westies........just don't like this situation at all.


I will pm her name if you want it....she advertises in the Houson Chronicle.

Yuppers...6 year anniversary.

Don't have a camera phone...any other suggestions?

This is terrible. Kemah is near NASA and Clear Lake, League City area. It is about 25 miles north of Galveston. My kids live one mile from the Kemah Boardwalk. Where is this lady?

Ah, OK, thanks for the location! If it were closer to me, I'd check it out.

If everything is clean, SPCA probably can't do anything. BUT she could be violating the zoning ordinances by having a business in her home or exceeding the number of pets allowed in a home. That's probably the way to go!

Just for reference, how can I go about finding this info out?...zoning ordinances.

I guess by calling the code enforcement office at the city hall. I thought of the zoning thing because I noticed a city vehicle with "code enforcement" on it at my neighbor's house a few weeks ago. The guy races muscle cars and is always fixing them in his garage and driveway. Someone must have complained about the revving.

I reported one of my neighbors in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The dogs were freezing to death in the backyard in snow and sleet and no shelter!!!!UNREAL!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr I sure hope they call the ASPCA! :thumbup:
