cold little puppies Villette, I exploded recently at the sight of curbside babies. I stopped at a Wal Mart parking lot and saw a "wad" of little cold puppies lying on the grass next to a beat up truck....they were shaking from the cold air 50 degrees and were huddled up to keep warm. At first, I thought they were dead until I saw the shaking of their little bodies. I pulled my PT Cruiser next to them and pulled out an old beach towel and proceeded to confront the people sitting on the curb near by......They had on coats and jackets. I gave them a piece of my mind and threw the towel over the babies. They proceeded to call me names. I went to my car and called the police and waited in the car until they arrived. They talked to the people and made them load up the babies and they peeled out while giving me the finger. I am not sure I helped the puppies but I could't just drive by.....I took down the tag number in case they followed my later.... I am heart sick at the cruelty to the innocents......both animals and children. Max and Maggie's Mom |

:thumbdown :mad: What is going on in people's minds now in days??? That is so messed up just letting dogs freeze! Who are they to call anyone names? Do they have a heart at all? Those poor pups could die if not kept cold for long periods of time! let's all get the smallest kennel we can find and stuff them in it and put them in a room that's 32 degrees without coats and see how they like it. They need a good dose of their own medicine!!! ;) |

YOU GO GIRL !!! :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup: That was just awesome and I SO agree with you about calling the cops. I'm going to my corner this coming weekend to see if MY curbside Cussers with puppies are there again.... and THIS time I am calling the cops. I don't care if I have to wait for hours I just can't get these poor puppies out of my mind. For those JERKS to sit there in Their coats and jackets while those poor babies shake from the cold is EVIL ! Man...people can really suck....I'm so glad the cops did something.... but I wish it was more....What is it about these people and the Finger LOL ? I got a Double Salute the other day :D You were brave and awesome for doing what you did and I wish I could give you a big hug. We all need to speak up when we see these things happening...it's so easy to look the other way....and it's worth getting Cussed out over. Believe me it is :D |
