My Daisy I would think has the traditional yorkie look, maybe more like a fox. Bear I think has a teddybear look but not quite a babydoll.

I would say a teddy bear face for my Jazz right now. I have no idea what she is going to look like in a couple of months.

Baby-doll is a marketing word and the decision for that look is in the eye of the beholder. The terrier look is the actual look that you see in shows, etc and is preferred in Europe where the breed was developed. We in the good ole USA seem to like the shorter muzzle with the wider-set eyes..
My favorite look of any dog I have ever had (second to Jesse, of course) is the one on Pat's avatar labelled Whisper. Now, that is one beautiful girl..

Bugaboo has a shorter muzzle and wider skull. I know that he is incorrect in a lot of ways, but I love him anyway.
He is neutered and not used as a stud.

OK, so the longer muzzle is the standard?? I think that Daisy has a longer muzzle, but I love the short little muzzle.. They look sooooo cute!

I was just reading in "The Complete Yorkshire Terrier" and it sounded to me like the shorter wider muzzle was the standard. Not a fat broad face, but not pointy and fox like either. Did I misunderstand?.

I think one of the best ways to see the more acceptable face is to look at some really good show kennel sites. They will look different but have somewhat the same facial features..So many of our moosh-faces (my word for the look I love) have soft dark, wooly or cottony coats. IMO they are harder to maintain a nice coat on them..

Even in the show ring you will see various types of faces.
Every breeder has their own idea of the Perfect Yorkie.

I'm not sure. sometimes he looks like both. I have included three pictures for your opinons. I'm leaning more towards teddy bear.

Ok...here's my girls type faces :

Chanel has a Munchkin Face and Cheri has a Muppet Face.

Doesn't get any better than that ! :D

I always wondered what Zoey has for a shaped face, I think more teddy bearish but same say she looks like baby fox....oh well whatever I love her the way she is...Don't we all ??? :)
