Busy Yorkies I haven't gotten my Yorkie yet, but you all say how busy yours are. How do you get time to come on this web site and give such great advice?? |
When they cuddle on our laps and we can sit. also late at night. :) |
Very good question! Mine is napping on my lap right now!! It's his favorite place to be. I would say they sleep a lot (50% of the time) when they are young puppies, much like a baby, and then they start napping less as they go into the toddler/teenage period. Every dog is different. They are little dogs and don't need a lot exercise and any activity will tire them out and they will want to rest. A few throws of the ball down the hallway may be all they can handle. My male is "all boy" and very hyper while my female is "all girl" and, while she loves to play, she also loves to cuddle and be held and will nap or sleep anywhere anytime! These forums are addicting and I know I spend way too much time here, but it is a form of relaxation for me at the beginning and the end of the day! Hope this helps! |

Yup, when I'm on here, Tia's usually on my lap and Sandy on my feet - or they are curled up together on the bed out here. Sometimes they play together and I get on, but then they want to go to sleep. Mine really sleep A LOT! :) |
I'm bad... most of my time on here is when I'm at work. If I'm at home, I'll take a break when they are playing together in a confined area that I can see from the computer. Or my boyfriend will be on puppy patrol while I'm on the computer. |
I'm bad too...I am self employed so I can pull up YT and minimize the window and just check in thru the day.....I agree this place is totally addicting..... |
Yeah, most of the time I'm on YorkieTalk is when I'm at work. I just keep it open and refresh it from time to time. When I'm at home and I want to get on the computer, I just pick Fred up and put him in my lap and throw a blanket over him. He's really hyper when he's running around but when you're holding him, he's the quietest thing ever. :p |
