How did you wake up this morning? I had Chloe desperately trying to make out with me all morning :D . I had to give up on the whole trying to catch up on sleep thing when she got little frisky with her tongue and it went into my nostrils a few times :rolleyes: :D . So needless to say, Im up now. Anyone else have a yorkie that is extremely affectionate in the morning? |
As soon as the alarm goes off Mac & Mellie start hopping all over the bed, Jumping on my head, licking the face. It's like Mom come on let's get up, let's play, let's have some fun. I am not a morning person, especially at 6AM. |
LOL She's soooooooooooo cute ! I don't get the nose thing but both girls lay on my back and WAIT for me to move.....and all I hear is little sniffs in my ear...the minute I turn my head it's ON with the kissing and they do this every morning.... Cheri is a percher ...she has to sleep ON me whereas Chanel is next to me...but both are major kissing machines :p I LOVE it ! |
Princess is full ok kisses every morning. That's how we know it's time to get up, She won't stop untill your out of bed. :) :) :) |
:p Muffin prefers to sleep under the covers, belly to belly with me. (Even my husband doesn't get that privilege!). When my alarm goes off, she worms her way out of the covers up to my pillow, rolls on her back and expects a tummy rub! After the tummy rub I then get loads of Yorkie kisses. I climb out of bed, head for the shower and Muffin gets back under the covers and goes back to sleep because 4:45 a.m. is an ungodly hour for ANY creature to get out of bed! |
How funny that you mentioned this, I was just on my way to tell everybody about my new "alarm clock". It is so nice to wake up to puppy kisses and puppy breath and not the BUZZ BUZZ BUZZ of that dang clock!! Now I don't have a snooze button though :smile: |
Oh not here, Bailey is my little SLEEPER, he stays in bed, doesn't even flinch at the alarm, As soon as I get up he moves to my warm spot. Then I have to literally pick him up to take him out to pee, then he jumps right back in bed when he comes in. :rolleyes: Makes it quite nice on the weekends. ;) |
Must be a Yorkie thing! Kloey loves sticking her tongue up my nose :p and quick, man that tongue is quick! It's funny every morning she goes to room to room to make sure everyone knows shes awake! :yorkiesar |
LOLOLOL yorkies are so funny...Vivi will stand on my chest and stare at me until I open my eyes and then she dives at my face and kisses,kisses kisses....if I don't get up she gets very aggressive with her kissing..my daughter and I call it angry kissing :D :D |
Yup! I got a Yorkie Alarm clock. 4.30am EVERYDAY! It's potty time. She's been doing this for the past week. I don't mind because she is learning to TELL me she wants out to pee! :D She licks my hand if it's out, or she'll jump all over me. She also likes to pull my hair :D I don't know if you'd say it was affection, lol! |

Yup yup, this all sounds way too familiar for me. My little coco must have the longest tongue of any yorkie..everyone who's met her says so...and she can twist that thing like a twizzler right up your nose, and ears and any hole she sees...hehe I wouldn't trade those morning kisses for nothing. |

My alarm went off and I got out of bed and woke up the kids. I walked back into the room and Tucker was curled into a tiny ball sound asleep. He looked so cuddly that I had to crawl back in with him for a few minutes! I got to wake him up with kisses! |
Samson pretty much wants to make out all the time. I guess me and my husband are not the only ones that get the big tongue up the nose kisses! He also likes to lick my husbands head and likes both of our ears. He can slip that little tongue most anywhere! :p |
After we wake up - KimMee demands to get in my bed for snuggles. My husband goes off to work and we are still snuggly in bed :D |
I woke up with a stiff neck, because somebody (Raven) has gotten into the habit of stealing my pillow. I have added more pillows but she seems to like the one where I lay my head. I guess I should be thankful that I even get to sleep in my, I mean her bed. Kim |

Cali wakes me up with a little kiss sometimes up the nose and then slips under the covers for belly rubs until Maya wakes up from under the bed, Then she knows it's time to go eat. |

My pup doesn't get "real excited" about getting up. I think he would always like to sleep "just one more hour." I had another dog that - when it was dark and cold in the winter - just wouldn't get out of bed. She would fight you if you even tried to get her up. And - she would stay in bed (usually for at least another hour or so) until she wanted to get up. She'd wait until the house was toasty warm and it was light outside. Carol Jean |
Me and Roxy have a routine, she digs her way under the blankets and stays there all night and in the morning, she won't come out until I say "wakey wakey eggs and bakey" then she'll pop her little head out from under the blankets and give me kisses :p |
Ruby doesn't sleep over night with me in bed but she does take naps with me throughout the day. When she goes to sleep I try my best not to move or disturb her whereas when I am sleeping she waits for the smallest movements to try and start kissing me and if I cover my face with my conforter or my pillow she will start digging/scratching for it till its exposed and she can start liking me. :thumbup: |
Georgie wakes me up by biting my hair then licking my nose and scratching at my pillow. I then wake up and say "Good morning sunshine," and then he rolls over and I rub his belly. Oh just thinking about him makes me smile:) :D |
Hope likes to sleep in, but every now and then I wake up to her "perching" on my side and staring at me (like she can stare me into waking up.). :D |
